  • Summary: Riesenlied gathers a meeting with Ambrosius and Noeline at the Lacour Grande.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

In the days since Old Petra, Riesenlied has been accompanied by Noeline in order to attempt to convalesce and make a recovery -- something that's been rather stymied at times by the anxious attacks on her mind and other circumstances, but... they aren't made of particularly fragile stuff, all told. By the end of the week, the winged commander's feeling well enough -- if a little sniffly -- to ask Kaguya to send a missive to Ambrosius and invite him to a meeting, in particular at one of the waiting rooms in the Lacour Grande.

The winged woman is seated at her table and sipping a cup of tea, trying to not exert herself too much... but business is business, after all.

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

After a couple of weeks spent watching over Riesenlied's recovery and ensuring as best she can that the scattered forces of the Ebony Wings have sufficient safehouses and supplies to see them through a period of rest, the Crimson Noble has apparently decided that it would be prudent to simply sit back for a while and enjoy the surroundings of Lacour.

That would explain the plate that she's managed to secure from a nearby bakery, neatly placing it down for Riesenlied as she takes a seat next to her; she hums brightly, revealing a set of pastries that aren't exactly the fine dining of macaroons, but that look comforting and warm enough - especially next to a hot drink - to help cope with Riesenlied's current state.

"Really, to think you'd cap everything off with a cold," she snickers in quiet amusement, and not a little in the way of fondness.

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

There had not been much word from Ambrosius of late. It wasn't out of any particular ill will - it was just that due to one thing or another he had been quite busy, and when he was busy things tended to just...wash right past him.

An invitation to a meeting, however, was more than enough to shake him out of it and grab his attention.

He's gotten a few odd glances, dressed as he is, as he makes his way through the town. The Lacour Grande, was it?

Eventually he makes his way there, and to the requested meeting room.

"Miss Rieseeenlied...Miss Noeliiine..." He acknowledges with a bow of his head and moves in to take a seat.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied sips very gently, making a little face from the heat of the drink as she protests to Noeline, "This is just... how I am as usual. It rather doesn't change... in fact, it feels oddly comforting, in how familiar it is..."

She sags for a moment, before pausing to look towards the door as she bows her head. "Ambrosius. I'm glad that you could make it. I am rather sorry for the silence of the last week... it has been a deeply trying time."

She sighs. "Kaguya is here as well, if you've not caught up with her earlier. How are you?"

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

Noeline's chuckles are light, at least; she flicks out her hair with a prideful little air, and it's kind of obvious that she's sharing in that sense of normality along with Riesenlied. "It's fine. Better that than any number of other outcomes, hm?"

When she greets the Veruni it's with a tilt of her head, her version of a respectful bow mixed with a careful silence. "Welcome to the Lacour Grande - not to mention, Lacour in general, if you haven't had the chance to see it up until now." For a moment the spy looks over the Veruni as if to take stock of his 'disguise' - though she has to snicker when she catches herself, realizing that for most Veruni that sort of worry would be misplaced. "It is a rather bustling place, but I'd think you should be well concealed amongst all the Drifters around."

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

Ambrosius nods toward Noeline as he takes his seat.

"Thaaank you..." He chuckles, then, before nodding.

"Indeed...fortunately...I rarely have...diiifficulty...fitting in..." He explains. As long as he wore his poncho, that was. Sure, some people thought his manner of speech was a little strange...but it wasn't as if that was a specifically Veruni trait.

He looks toward Riesenlied then, and nods sadly.

"I understaaand...I have been raaather...quiet...myseeelf..." He acknowledges. "I heard...what haaappened... I can understaaand that...things must be...diiifficult for you."

He lowers his head slightly.

"I must...offer my...condooolences for...Old Peeetra...and...my apooology...that I was...not preseeent...to help defeeend it..."

Riesenlied mentions Kaguya, and Ambrosius smiles slightly. It seemed she'd followed up on his suggestion, after all.

"I do hooope...she haaas been...getting along with you all..." He comments. He was curious just how much Kaguya had told them about everything, but didn't want to bring it up himself.

"As for...myself... I am doing well...a certain...projeeect...has been taaaking up...most of my tiiime...but it is...enjoyable work..." He explains.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied places a hand to her cheek with a quiet cough afterwards, before sighing softly with a shake of her head. "... it's all right. While what happened was regrettable, at this point I am only glad that you are unharmed." She frowns very softly. "It hinders our plans, but it ultimately changes little -- we were prepared for the very real contingency leading from its loss, in the end."

Another sip of her tea.

"I would have to warn you of the crimson Gear and its owner, Id. We do not know where he fled, but..." She frowns. "It is the one and same threat from the Garlylean massacre in Elru, seven years ago, the one that had me chasing him to Ignas." A pause. "If Lord Volsung or your other superiors are not aware, I'd suggest spreading the word... this is no threat any one faction can deal on their own."

Not even Siegfried could stand up to him alone, after all.

"She's doing quite well... I think she takes well to the Tainted," she smiles as she shares that news. "I have the feeling she hasn't been exposed to such camaraderie, and I am glad to offer that for her..." A pause. "A certain project...?"

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

"Most of all, do not feel as if it is your fault. If there is anyone that could be named as such, it would be the /dearly/ departed Commander Gylfi and the cascade of events that emerged as part of his underestimation of human power," comments Noeline, and her expression and voice have hardened somewhat against her too-casual tone. "His reckless maneuvers paved the way for humans to learn about the existence of Old Petra, whereupon the resulting attack then brought it to Id's attention in turn."

She hesitates, closing her eyes in a quick equivalent of counting to ten, and then the tension drops out of her shoulders as she opens her eyes. "Thankfully, we were somewhat prepared to cut and run, hm? It was certainly a loss, but to some extent it was expected."

She glances across at Riesenlied, watching the winged woman's reacions when she mentions Id. The fact that she can talk about the red figure this easily seems like it might be a comfort to her, as the smile is a little out of place when she continues. "... in particular, you should be aware of the Gear. We have reason to believe Id may be able to hide himself fully - but I cannot imagine it would be easy to bury a thing like that. We've managed to recover some images of it, for identification's sake at the very least. The best I could find, unfortunately."

Happier things, though, and Noeline's smile is beaming at the mention of Kaguya - not to mention tinged with abject curiosity at the talk of special projects. "Ah, I do apologize if she ends up getting mad at the faintest thought of me. There's something about her reactions that makes her a /terribly/ fun target for a little teasing, you understand," she adds blithely.

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

"Even so...it is a shame... I do hope causalties...were liimited..." Ambrosius nods. Yes, they had spoken of the possibility that it would be lost before. It was no less of a tragedy because of it, however. It had been a home for the people that had been stationed there, and now it was gone.

Ah, so this 'Gylfi' was to blame for drawing attention to Old Petra. It sounded as if he had suffered for it, however, so there was no point in speaking ill of him right now.

He perks up slightly at the mention of the Crimson Gear. Interesting...there had been no word of it in so long. He had assumed it and its pilot must have disappeared, or been consumed by its own power...but to think it was still around and functional? Worrisome. It was possible they could handle it...but such a confrontation would be fraught with risk. Having allies would definitely be reassuring.

"I see...thank you...for...briiinging this to my...atteeention...I will be sure to...relaaay this...informaaation...as soon as possible..." He says with a nod. "As for...how it reeemains hidden...It is possible that the...Gear itself may have...some vaaariety of...cloaking teeechnology that we are unaware of..."

Talk turns back to Kaguya, then.

"Ah...I am glad..." He says with a slight smile, then chuckles at Noeline's comment.

"I understaaand...I am certain that...she prefers that...to treating her like glass, at least..." He comments. He had experienced that personally.

As for his project...

"Have you...been to the so-called...'Teeemple of Reeejection'...? I went with Miss Priiima and..." He pauses for a moment. What was that thing's name? That slimy thing.

"...And the one...who speaks in...nonseeense..." Technically he hadn't been invited along, but he had been present. A human had been there as well, but he didn't think that worth mentioning.

"We managed to...find one of their...mechaaanical soldiers offline...so I took it with me...to study..."

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied looks towards Noeline to reprimand very softly, "... let us not dwell on blame, or openly criticise the departed," even if she can't exactly argue on the nature of who was responsible. While Gylfi set the chain for the events that led there, he's ultimately not responsible for everything that led to the crimson Gear emerging there... or so she thinks. It's a little unusual, but... she's not one to openly denigrate the departed. "It is rather rude."

She sips at her tea again. "We were ready to evacuate, but... there were still heavy casualties. Owing to the strange nature of his powers, nonetheless. But at the same time, it was a strange collaboration that sought us passage... a collaboration between Drifters and Hyadeans, and the Guards and the Tainted both..."

She squints just for a moment. "I will be sure to send those images your way, or Noeline might have them on hand already..."

Her eyes widen at the mention of the Temple. "We were... actually recuperating at Gounon, before Lacour. It is Veruni-controlled territory... so we thought it'd buy us time. But--" She frowns. "The Temple... it called to me -- and yet rebuffed me, at every turn... I was drawn there, in a fit of pique..."

A pause. "Mechanical soldiers? Hmm... that would fit your expertise. I look forward to what you find. When we were there, we were able to secure some intel from the mainframe..." A rub of her chin. "There was a warning about Lolithia, the Ice Queen... and... some mention of what would happen if an unnamed person were to find out. ... it isn't clear to me what the nature of that Temple is... it merits further investigation."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

The twintailed spy pauses, and bows her head down in Riesenlied's direction as she gets lightly reprimanded. "... you are right. I apologize," she admits after a moment, her smile rather lopsided as she picks at her hair. "I-- it is still a little raw, I suppose." That fact - and the way she admits it - is almost surprised, as if she hadn't quite aware of that herself until she said it out loud. "We are, at least, surviving. I understand that is something of a Tainted trait," she adds, her expression picking back up to a wry grin.

"I will provide them," she adds afterwards, nodding her head. "Though it may take a little while. I do not exactly have them to hand - I just know that it was something we were able, faintly, to recover from Old Petra. I doubt they will be useful for any actual studies of the odd Gear, but it should at least suffice for investigation."

She falls silent when talk turns to the temple, though, her lips drawn into a tight line. "The place rejected Riesenlied - not to mention, one of our companions - I had already taken that to mean that she might have been a Veruni - and I had my reasons to believe that perhaps the temple was some structure to mark the Guardians. It would certainly explain why we felt such a strong pushback the moment we headed inside." And it would explain why she didn't feel it nearly as keenly as Riese did - but she keeps that last part to herself, shaking her head.

"But... mechanical soldiers and temple-wide security systems are hardly a particularly Guardian sort of technology, are they?" she mutters a moment later, her brow furrowing as she tries to work the puzzle out. "Frankly, the whole place felt as if it was rather odd. ... I'm a little loathe to go back, but it really may be for the best."

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

"Times of haaardship...can certainly form...straaange alliiiances...as teeemporary as they may sometimes be..." Ambrosius comments with a slight chuckle.

He nods at the mention of the images. They would certainly be appreciated, both by himself and by the higher-ups. They would be useful pieces of information, certainly.

"You have my...graaatitude...Miss Noeliiine..." He says with a nod.

"Ah... If I had known that...I would have viiisited..." Ambrosius comments, surprised. "Well...the tiiime for that is...passed..."

"Still...it called to you...? That is...concerning..." He murmurs. His expression then darkens somewhat at the mention of Lolithia...

Could it be that there was a connection...?

It clears up shortly, and he nods.

"Ah...there was a Veruni with you?" He asks, curious. And the mention of the Guardians...

"It could be that...in ancient tiiimes...Guaaardian worship was...a little more advaaanced..."

He didn't know that for sure, but it was a thought.

"Yes...retuuurning is a daaangerous prospeeect...but...we could staaand to learn much, I believe... As alwaaays...I would be...glaaad to assiiist you...in that eeendeavor...or any other...as alwaaays..." He replies.

"You need...but ask..."

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied doesn't seem to quite share Noeline's theory that Avril is a Veruni -- especially given what Volsung had said about them being rejected by the Guardians... but she's not quite sure she's unrelated. It's all a mystery to her. "... we still need to return to Old Petra as well... I daresay that is a slightly higher priority -- to retrieve what has been lost, to eliminate that which we cannot remain exposed, and..."

She lowers her head. "To pay respects for those that are no longer with us."

She sighs faintly, finishing her tea. "It... does not strike me as a Guardian temple, per se -- the designs are also unfamiliar to me..." A pause. "But the high and advanced technology reminds me both of our own, and perhaps the Veruni's. Could it be the... Elw?"

A pause. "It is just a theory, but I would guess that, given the subject of Lolithia, it is a base or some kind of facility dating back to the Metal Demon Wars.... but yes, we have work to do -- it might be useful if we take advantage of the Tournament keeping people occupied to set out where we can."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

Noeline keeps largely silent on the prospect of human-demon cooperation, only offering a quietly amused huff of air and a nod of her head in recognition of the statement. It's not meant as an offence to Ambrosius, per se - more that she's not yet certain where the Veruni stands on the whole affair, and she'd rather not reveal her cards until that's the case.

"... it would probably be too late to hope to reclaim much from Old Petra," she admits quietly. "I am quite sure that any Drifters would have at least begun to pick the place clean. But-- I do agree," the spy adds quietly, and apparently not just for Riesenlied's sake given the way her face has quietly fallen. "We will do what we can."

"Aah... and here I was hoping to enjoy a little more time around Lacour with you," she laments theatrically, flicking out her hair again as she slips an arm around Riesenlied's waist and looks across the table to Ambrosius. "Have you seen much of the matches? It may be that there's something to learn from them, at least as far as human capability is concerned, but-- I do admit, I'd rather take advantage of the event where I can."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

Her head tilts in the Veruni's direction, her eyebrows going up. "At the very least, she seemed to be rather keenly aware of the temple's sense of rejection as well. I'd taken that to mean she might be one of your race - though you'll excuse me if I say I'm still not terribly aware of how to pick out the difference, especially not when pressed for time and danger."

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

Ambrosius nods solemnly. He understood that all too well.

"If you need it...I would be...honored...to assiiist you in that eeendeavor, as well..." He replies. It was possible that people would be flocking there, as Noeline said, and it would be unwise for Riesenlied to go there by herself...or even with just Noeline.

"Elw...yes, that is...possible..." Ambrosius muses, then glances toward Noeline.

"While it is...not outsiiide of possibility...there are certainly others...Miss Kaaaguya and...Miss Priiima are our...only aaagents that I am...currently in reeegular contaaact with...I could not tell...you of others..." He explains. "There are...certainly humans...with unusually keen...seeenses..."

He takes a moment to consider it when Noeline brings up the tournament.

"...No, admiiittedly... that...mechaaanical solider I mentioned...has been taaaking up most...of my tiiime..." He explains. He sounds...actually a bit sheepish? He seems to understand that he had missed some interesting things, tactically and otherwise.

"I believe Miss Priiima...has been keeping...an eye on them, however..."

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied nods towards the both of them, lacing her hands together as she says, "It may be too late, but it is still worth our time. There were automated defenses and other devices still present, after all... and for all that it has been breached, Old Petra was designed as a fortification. We never know until we find out."

She holds onto Noeline's hand to say, "There will be time still. I don't plan to rush... we need to keep our health in mind, after all."

She nods at Ambrosius and says, "Thank you for your cooperation... I deeply appreciate it." A pause as she hums in thought, before saying, "What are your plans for these soldiers? Would you field them as assistants in battle, or did you have other means of deploying them, like scouting...?"

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

At the very least, Noeline doesn't look nearly as plagued with worry as she has been as of late; she just huffs softly as she takes Riesenlied's hand, apparently heedless of Ambrosius' presence when it comes to this much. Maybe she figures the Veruni are a little more (gasp) human when it comes to this sort of thing, or maybe she's too brimming with confidence to worry too much right at this moment.

"That is a fair point - and as you say, we have much more important reasons that will take us there," she replies with a note of respect, tilting her head in a nod before she snickers. "Besides, Kalve did ask us to recover what we could in the meantime, and I believe I owe him that much given recent events."

"I suppose that is true... I would not expect to see a Veruni out so far without having caught at least some word of their presence," she admits towards Ambrosius, frowning slightly at the talk of Veruni agents - but while she lets the subject go her curiosity cannot, and she mentally chalks that down on the list of things to check into later.

At Riesenlied's final question, though, she lights up with amusement. "Oh, I wonder," she teases, her free hand coming to her lips as she grins behind it. "The question of whether they are Elw or Guardian or something else entirely aside, for someone to get cooped up so heavily on a 'special project' with only a single soldier to hand - I don't think we'll see them in the field at all. Would I be right in thinking this is a chance to satisfy your own curiosity as far as how they were made?"

The tone of voice is not accusing - but is definitely enjoying itself.

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

Admittedly, Ambrosius wouldn't mind an opportunity to take a look at Metal Demon technology. He wouldn't want to ruin the mood by bringing that up right now.

And when Riesenlied brings up his plans for the solider...

"Ahh...well..." He starts, a bit hesitant. He goes quiet when Noeline speaks. And then, after some silence, nods.

"I will admiiit...I never did...think that far..." He says. "It was curiosity...more than anything...that drooove me to claaaim it..."

"However..." He clears his throat and straightens up a bit more.

"I have...every inteeention...of putting it...baaack together...once I am finished... I have been... keeping a close eye...on how it is put...togeeether... I do not...belieeeve...I have reeendered it...nonfunctiooonal..."

He sounded confident, but only time would tell for sure.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

"Recent events...?" Riesenlied inquires, ever so softly, but she doesn't really know what's transpired since she was out. But she looks towards Noeline with an innocent blink as she says, "Ah, truly? Hmm... I would have thought it would be better served on the field..." while missing all the cheeky implications that Noeline is putting on poor Ambrosius.

"But... even if it is just curiosity -- much like our studies with the Golem Core, it must prove useful if not for just your own studies. If you'd like for any of us -- particularly Cetiri -- to peer review your work, or to give feedback, I'm sure she'd be happy to assist..."

From any other person, it might sound like an attempt to snoop in on the tech that he's dabbling with, but it just sounds too genuine a suggestion for help from Riesenlied.

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

With an easy laugh, Noeline shakes her head and holds up her free hand, the other still clasped in Riesenlied's. "I am not saying it as a bad thing. More of us could do with being ruled by our curiosity, hm?" She certainly still /sounds/ like she's teasing, but at least she seems good-natured about it at the same time. "I don't doubt that you can put it back together - after all, that much I would expect from anyone who knows what they're doing - though I would wonder how well it would function, if taken away from whatever it deems to be home base."

"If anything, the nature of its technology would probably be best used pinpointing the group that created those ruins. That is what I would expect to be of most use to come from it."

"I suppose we should also ask what your plans are going forwards," she adds, with a glance towards Riesenlied and a slight nod. "Once our forces are sufficiently rested, I believe we will be seeking a new replacement for Old Petra - a focal point to gather at, if you like. Should you be short on resources and places to go out in the west, I have no doubt we could provide a stepping-stone on that front. ... with any luck, it might last a little longer," she adds, the grumble soft.

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

Ambrosius, as it happens, doesn't really mind snooping as much.

"Well...while I ceeertainly...would be...glad for an opportuuunity to work with Miss Cetiiiri on a project...I believe I have...eeeverything control..." He says.

"However...either way...I would not...objeeect to showing it...to her...once I am fiiinished with...my own stuuudies..." He enjoyed working with people who actually knew what he was talking about when it came to technology.

"Admiiitedly...I had conceeerns...about that...as well..." He says, in response to its reduced functionality outside of its home base.

"However...I have...ideas...in that regaaard..." He doesn't seem to be readily saying what these are, however.

He then nods.

"Yes...that would certainly...be useful..."

She asks about his plans, then, and he has to think for a moment.

"I may haaave to...take you up on...that offer..." He says with a nod.

"There will no doubt...be more...plaaaces of intereeest out west...having somewhere...to return to...would maaake everything...that much easier..."

And resources he would otherwise act if he was working alone, as well.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied nods rather gently -- knowing that she's not terribly technologically minded... for a Metal Demon, anyway. She understands them on a functional level, but less so on a technical level. Shes quints just for a moment as she pours more tea for herself, sighing very quietly.

"We have plans to set up base further west..." she replies, adding to Noeline's comment. "I believe we may have the advantage there -- the Sand Ocean, for all its perils, was also the site of many battles in our past. If we are fortunate, we may even find more proper fortifications..."

She gestures. "But... that's all in the future right now..." A pause. "Old Petra and the Temple of Rejection lie as a more immediate concern... but yes, as Noeline says -- if you need anything from us, both on the capacity of our alliance and also our arrangement in the Ebony Wings... do feel free to ask."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

"I would be curious to see it myself. I may not look it, but I have at least studied this sort of thing a little - and it would be useful to have a reference point for later, hm? After all, I don't doubt that where there's one odd temple from an ancient civilization, there will surely be more. Filgaia rarely disappoints, on that front," she adds with an amused little hum, sneaking her fingers forwards to the table to steal one of the pastries she /ostensibly/ bought for Riesenlied's sake rather than her own.

After a purposefully dainty bite, she hums. "More to the point, the perils of the Sand Ocean are not ones that tend to apply to Hyadeans - that said, I suppose the Ebony Wings will need to make sure they have their fair shame of human and Veruni-appropriate provisions as well, if we want to work effectively." It's still something of a pleasant surprise for Noeline to realize they actually have non-demon members, now, and her eyebrows raise. "It isn't as if all that's needed is a dust filter, after all."

"Ah, yes-- if you need a room more immediately, do mention my name to the innkeeper. I dare say I am nearing the end of the favours that I'm owed, but it isn't as if I intend to impose all that much further, and there's no harm in trying, after all."

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

"Of course...I would be glaaad...to show you..." Ambrosius says with a nod, when Noeline mentions an interest in taking a look at the mechanical soldier. There was no point in being shy with it, after all.

Riesenlied mentions the possibility of finding proper, pre-built fortifications, and Ambrosius nods.

"Yes...that would be...advaaantageous..." He agrees, then glances toward Noeline.

"Yes...that is also true..." He agrees. "And I will certainly...need to ensure that...my suit is...prepaaared...for such enviiironments..."

By that, he meant the suit underneath his poncho. It was supposed to serve as protection from the environment, but he'd never had it tested against the intense factors he would likely encounter moving out west. Ostensibly it was supposed to be, but, well...

Better not to take too many unnecessary risks.

He nods at Noeline and Riesenlied's offers.

"Thank you...as always...your kiiindness and...hospitaaality...is greatly appreeeciated..."

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

There's a faint cough from Riesenlied as she feels her head swimming again -- it's rather evident at how the winged woman's eyes kind of glaze over for a moment. "Mm--" she takes a deeper breath. "Yes, do please stay if it is permitted... but, if not, we understand..." She shakes her head again. "Mm. Noeline, would you... be able to help me back to our room? I'm sorry, Mister Ambrosius, for the abrupt leave, but I am rather not feeling well at present... but we'll keep in contact when I am ready to head out once more."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

"If nothing else, we might as well see just how many high-profile people we can get in one location," Noeline snickers brightly to herself at her /own/ mention of staying in the inn, evidently terribly charmed by just how much in the way of bounty the hotel currently possesses by proxy.

She nods, though, satisfied by the offer and that she's made Ambrosius at least aware of potential hardships ahead. "You know-- while I'm thinking about it, it may also be worth your looking into some of our technology for disguises. It must be terribly limiting having to appear like you're wearing that thing all the time, hm?" It's perhaps a rather forward offer - on the other hand, Noeline does at least seem to enjoy the company of most Veruni, even if she's rather uncertain about Volsung's general intentions. It's a mirror of her own thoughts regarding Mother - perhaps she's just got an authority problem.

But then Riesenlied coughs, and it's /very/ obvious that the rest of her concerns rapidly fly away as she begins to support the winged woman with an arm. "... of course. Do you need anything further?" she asks urgently as she helps Riese up to her feet. "We can probably get more bedding, if it is necessary..."

<Pose Tracker> Ambrosius has posed.

Disguise technology? Would that even work for him? Well, if she was offering, Ambrosius had to assume that it would.

"I will...fiiind time to diiiscuss...that wiiith you...at a laaater point... It would appear you have...greater conceeerns...right now..." He comments with a slight smile, looking between Noeline and Riesenlied.

He bows slightly toward the two of them, and turns toward the door.

"I understaaand...I wish you well... And thaaank you, both of you, for speaking wiiith me...even in your...condiiition..." He says, before heading outside.

Well, he might as well take Noeline up on her offer of a room. Even if he didn't use it, it would at least be a good option to have.
