<A doodle of Grandgrowl chasing a ball in the desert> |
RECOMMENDED ACTION: | R&D has followed the report with proper documentation on the scraps that were collected from the battlesite, and per Kahm's orders will be focusing on the strange crystal in hopes of understanding its properties. |
COMMENTS: | Every participant has had a little gold star sticker added to their dossier. No one's sure how that happened. Or if it means anything.
Update (2017-10-01) from Captain Yugh: I wanted to inform that our battle with Golem Sado some weeks ago has finally borne fruit. Firstly, the golem has not been sighted again since our engagement, which is good news for the troops at the front. Well done there. Secondly, our R&D team has analyzed the parts of Sado we recovered and made some interesting discoveries. The crystalline structures it had inside seem to be an ancient technology that matches what we know of Barbados. There is still much we don't know, but the crystals seem to leverage sorcery to power the golem in some way that is analogous to fuel. Barbados has been shown to react to this, and with some more work they're confident they can not only get the weapon online, but repair it if necessary. In other words, the next time an enemy tried to field a golem against us, we'll be prepared to answer in kind. Keep up the good work. |
