  • Cast:Sephilia Lampbright, Lemina Ausa, Asteroid the Kid
  • Where: Eerie Farmhouse
  • Date: 2017-09-23
  • Summary: Sephilia, Lemina, and Asteroid head to a spoopy farmhouse to prove their bravery. They do a lot of running. Also in case you're curious carrots are not related to mandrakes. I looked it up.

=============================================<* Great Krosian Plains *>==============================================

The bulk of the countryside around the capital city of Krosse consists of rolling, grassy fields, a stark contrast from the arid desert sands to the north. Every year, however, the desertification spreads, and more and more life is swallowed up by the sands.

As travellers near the capital, the grasslands transition into cultivated fields. The yields from Krosse's farmlands have given the kingdom the nickname of the breadbasket of Ignas, and the majority of its trade centres around grains, fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuffs.

While its might pales in comparison to its larger neighbours, Krosse maintains a significant standing army to help deal with monsters and green-eyed neighbours who might seek to seize that bounty for themselves. These soldiers are kept active by frequent patrols and maneuvers throughout the Plains and major roadways; as a result, travel in the kingdom is safer than nearly anywhere else on the continent.

One's journey to the eerie farmhouse outside Krosse starts a few blocks up
the road, rather than at the farm itself. No matter what route one takes to
the farm, the first problems happen a few hundred feet afield. Coming from
the direction of the farm is a veritable legion of what appear to be tiny
carrots, or at least, some sort of root vegetable. They walk on tiny arms
and legs that split off from their tiny orange-brown bodies, with a gait
that isn't quite right, bending in ways that seem like they would break a
normal vegetable and dripping a paralytic toxin as they walk. Individually,
they aren't much to look at -- but mind the poison! ... Just what is
 happening at that farm?

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.

Sephy is not easily scared! She's not a scaredy cat! Really! So she's heard rumors of there being a spooky farmhouse, which means she has to go and prove her bravery by exploring. She's invited some of her friends along to be witness to her bravery (and moral support when she gets scared.)

It's practically a rite of passage, after all, a coming of age.

Not that she's a kid! Quite the opposite! That's the whole point.

Also,

"Are those...carrots?" Sephy asks from on Chauncey's back, as he smashes through wave after wave of them, "or mandragora of some sort? Are they related? I saw something about it in a book I could swear!"

Oh, yeah, she's been in the library lately and wants to make sure people know that, too. Wouldn't want people to think she had something against books.
<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Lemina needed a little convincing for this particular excursion -- but she kind of semi-ironically loves spooky stuff, and is eager to see Filgaia's flavor of spooky stuff!

This will change.

"Hrrmm..." Lemina hangs back a little, looking closely at the ambulatory carrot legion as she chants a fire spell. Fire plus plants generally equals dead, and Lemina knows enough to know that root vegetables probably shouldn't advance on you dripping stuff.

"... I don't /think/ they're related -- but those are definitely carrots! Mandrake root has a /lot/ of appendages, whereas these are just barely walking... mandrake 'limbs' would be skinnier, too!"

Mostly, though: fire.

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
Asteroid the Kid needs to get more materials for Matilda. She found some of them here at the spooky farmhouse! However, she had to drop some of them because she got owned by a giant killer plant.

"I hope y'all are good at murdering." Asteroid says. She is feeling a little sour lately for mysterious reasons. "Oh Lemina," She pauses, seeing her. "You're joining us? Cool." This does seem to cheer her up somewhat. "I ran into this guy with a mustache who talked about Althena a lot. He said you were all corrupted by Lucia the Destroyer. He said Ruby was corrupted too. Is Althena even real, or is she fake like Granas?"

She throws meteors at the carrots, saving up MP essentially since she knows she'll need it later. "They're pretty awful so just kill 'em." She asides to Sephilia.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.

It's a good thing Lemina's along, because as smashy as Chauncey's fists and Asteroid's meteors are, it's the fire that spreads like...well, fire...and finishes off the mass of little mandrake-lookin' orange vileness.

"Well," Sephilia says. "That was different."

This small building with a heavy door is marked with the word "TOOLS" in
solid block letters, crafted by a firm and even hand. The building itself is
sturdy, made of thick masonry blocks and firmly planted in the soil. The
tools inside would be quite the boon for dealing with the plants outside,
but getting in there requires picking the door lock. Failing that, there's
always looking for a key under the myriad rocks and bushes nearby... but
wouldn't the larcenous route be that much faster?
=Dungeon Conditions: Reckless=================================================
<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
"Althena is totally real but Althena's Chosen are pretty much idiots top to bottom," Lemina says. "They take money from the poor to keep their 'poverty-stricken' priests decked out in gold and top-quality magic items." With a glance off to the side, Lemina notes, "... I made an okay amount of money off a couple magic item booms once. I know who buys."

The group reaches the farmhouse proper, climbing through a hole in the fence -- and arrives shortly, mostly unopposed, at a small, hardy building, almost untouched by the strangeness of the farm. "... Yikes at the penmanship," Lemina remarks, wryly, trying to open the door. It clicks.

Lemina tries to open the door Lemina-style. It ends up scorched, but not materially moved. "... Seriously? Who builds a tool shed /this/ sturdy?" she asks, incredulous.

Popping her reading glasses on, she says, "... I'm gonna pick it. Maybe the source of all the weird stuff is in here and that's why it's so mega-sturdy!" She fishes a hairpin out of her pack and sets to work.
DG: Lemina Ausa has used her Tool Reading Glasses toward her party's challenge, Tool Shed.
<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
"Which guy? did he give his name? Was his mustache fake? Because ugh, Althena's Chosen are jerkface buttnoses. Oh, hey, a lock. This is nothing--My Dad showed me a bunch about locks because you find them a lot in old ruins, right?" She pulls out her Dad's journal, and flips to some crude diagrams, then, with Chauncey holding it open for her, produces a set of tools and sets to work on the lock. "I'm pretty good at this stuff, really! It's pretty fun!"
DG: You use your Tool Dad's Journal against your party's Challenge, Tool Shed!
DG: Sephilia Lampbright has used her Tool Dad's Journal toward her party's challenge, Tool Shed.
<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
"Huh." Asteroid says to Lemina, thinking a few times. "That's good. I need to make a lot of money too. I want to build a rocketship one day and my first destination? It's gonna be the moon first! Because I mean, you have to do the moon first right? And where else is there to go? Is it a dying world like this one? I can't stand to see it dying like this, Filgaia." Asteroid frowns. "But--whatever, I'm going to go to the moon and I'll rip off the Althena Guard for you."

She pauses. "Oh uh--did you want to go back? To the moon, I mean? I figured you were happy here and if they're like full of people who hate you are full of shit, maybe you prefer Filgaia? I can get that, even though the desertification is just getting worse..."

Asteroid the Kid squints at the door and uses her brain to--

--NOT roundhouse kick. If Sephilia has tools, she'll hold back until she gets impatient. Which might happen. In which case--roundhouse kick.

"Maybe I should have like, hit him with a baseball bat, now that I hear he's a jerk who just wants to get filthy rich. I think he was a dragonmaster. He had a mustache."

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
Asteroid the Kid pauses to add to Sephilia though. "Oh maybe it was fake. I didn't really look too closely."
DG: Asteroid the Kid has contributed a Wits Basic Action toward her party's challenge, Tool Shed.

===================<* CHALLENGE - When a Dead Man Walks *>====================
|Type: Exploration |Dungeon Ability: Combat |Challenge Rating: 4 |

There's a sickening crack as a dry twig snaps beneath someone's feet
somewhere in the fields, and a shadowy form lurches up from the dirt. At
first, its wide-spread arms, one holding a pitchfork and the other a coach
gun, and dangling legs reveal it to be a scarecrow pushed up from the dirt
by an errant foot... and then the sticks that hold its posture snap, one
after another, and it lashes out with its pitchfork and fires a strange
green energy from its ARM. (Arcanists of all stripes will recognize the
 energy as magical.)

 The scarecrow's far-and-away most frightening attribute is its tenacity;
bullets only pit the hay, and blades have a hard time getting through its
guard. It fights like a fiend, and every footstep is deathly silent. The
plants themselves seem to play to the creature's whims, tripping and binding
investigators whenever they can. Other than the use of its weapons, it is
completely silent. Its defeat reveals the corpses of Krosse guardsmen, and
by extension, their restoratives -- but can our adventurers hold out long
 enough to reach that point?

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
Asteroid the Kid steps on a branch. A shadowy form lurches up from behind her as a scarecrow suddenly appears behind her, having been laying on the ground before. It's eyes glow with anger as Asteroid looks back at the creature. She blinks at it several times. She takes a step backwards. And then she quickly runs the fuck away. "THERE'S NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY!" Asteroid shrieks in utter terror.

Meanwhile the rest of y'all get to see it swipes its pitchfork at Sephilia and fires its MAGIC GUN at Lemina, spraying green magical energy at her. Maybe ... maybe the green energy is healing energy? It could be! Green is usually healing! Or poison!!

It seems determined to chase the group even if they don't fight it, stalking them like an implacable monster. It doesn't say anything.

It just hates and strikes.
DG: Asteroid the Kid has contributed a Combat Basic Action toward her party's challenge, When a Dead Man Walks.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
Sephilia screams. "SMASH IT SMASH IT CHAUNCEY...WITH THE FOLDING CHAIR!" She passes forward said folding chair...and Chauncey swings it and keeps swinging. Sephilia keeps screaming.

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
"OKAY THAT IS ENCOURAGING I AM GOING TO TURN AROUND!" Asteroid says.

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Getting the tool shed open proves pretty easy for a team of very smart people! Inside are, sure enough, tools. No ARMs, nothing interesting -- just tools. Lemina... scrunches up her face a bit. "Well -- at least we found out that this is just a perfectly normal tool shed!" she says. She also takes a sickle, just in case. ... if it doesn't end up coming up, she can totally leave it here on the farm, right?

NOW

The terrifying scarecrow creature stalks the party. Lemina feels her whole body tense up at every eerie, silent footfall -- and tnen the shouting starts, and, well, Lemina is GREAT at shouting. "AAAAA WHAT?" she declares, as she whirls her staff around and points it.

... Fire doesn't seem to be doing much. It's -- somehow not really taking, despite the creature being made of straw. "Uuuhhhh... mega-magic... explosions?" Lemina asks, a little helplessly.

She eventually settles for just blasting it with ray after ray of light while something in her pack glows a little bit. "Why is it magic?! WHY," she shouts, as she trips over a vine mid-cast, a shot going wild. "THIS ISN'T FAIR!"

Asteroid turns around and sees Sephilia beating it back with the folding chair (well Chauncey). She manages to knock the scarecrow over, but it's starting to get up again! Asteroid's eyes widen and rushes towards Sephilia. She grabs at her arm and will start to physically drag her away. "Stop! We can't beat it!"

But luckily thanks to Chauncey and a folding chair they've managed to not get eaten by a killer magic murder scarecrow!

And in the end, isn't that the real treasure?

<This field was in the middle of reaping, it seems, when it was
abandoned(?). A combine -- one which /should/ be drawn by horses, but
instead is unhitched -- sits in the center of the field, unused and alone.
Rust has started to form along the blades, and the metal is pitted at spots.

Which makes it all the more unnerving, no doubt, when the cylinder of blades
lurches to life, one side moving just slightly faster than the other for a
moment, and it begins to pursue the party through the fields, tearing up the
dirt itself as it moves. The metal and wood of its assembly creaks, squeals,
and groans, despite having no earthly force to propel it.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
Sephilia is scared enough by the revenant that when they get away she's relieved.

AND THEN THIS!

"RUN!" Sephilia screams, suiting action to word. Not that she's that fast. Little legs.
DG: Sephilia Lampbright has contributed a Agility Basic Action toward her party's challenge, The Combine.

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Lemina manages to snag a healing potion from one of the corpses on her way away from the revenant, which doesn't seem to be /that/ interested in pursuing once they get out of its reach.

The reason for this becomes apparent when, instead, a combine starts to roll at them, lurching irregularly. Lemina screams as she hears it run over a chunk of knotted wood and just splinter it to shreds. If it can do that to wood, what's it going to do to a Lemina!?

SHE HAS NO DESIRE TO FIND OUT.

Also, she's still running in sandals. This is basically always true?
DG: Lemina Ausa has used her Tool Chiro Sandals toward her party's challenge, The Combine.

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
Asteroid the Kid decides to cheat for Sephilia since she's alread ypulling her along by the arm. She fires out a portal underneath their feet, and one much farther back across the field. They schloop through it and out the other end as Asteroid just keeps running. Luckily, she seems to have a fair bit of stamina and leg strength. She's pretty tall for a lady!

"GNHAAAAAH!" She yells.
DG: Asteroid the Kid has used her Tool Portal Pistols toward her party's challenge, The Combine.

It's a mess of screaming, fleeing, tripping, and scraped knees, but the girls all manage to flee. Or the thing stops chasing them after just looking really terrifying. Or something.

"We can't. Tell. ANYONE. about this trip," Sephilia pants, miserable.

|Type: Exploration |Dungeon Ability: Agility |Challenge Rating: 1 |
---------------------------< Challenge Information: >---------------------------
At first glance, this looks like a mere job uncompleted -- a section of
farmland where the reaping started, but was never finished, tools discarded
and field left in disrepair. The tools, however, seem to have other ideas,
as they one-by-one pry themselves off the earth and swipe, instead, at the
 investigators!

Each swipe seems to render them that littlest bit slower, though; this is,
no doubt, a simple question of moving carefully and waiting for the tools
to.. exhaust themselves? Is that right?
=Dungeon Conditions: Hesitate, Slow===========================================

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, running from the combine harvester just puts our investigators in another field. "Yeah, no, no one hears about this. None of this happened. None of this will air," she declares, with a haunted stare. Air... into what, exactly? Don't worry about it.

There are better things to worry about right now -- like the rustling of a field lying half-harvested. "... That's just a squirrel, right?" Lemina asks -- a moment before a sickle not entirely unlike the one she stole earlier swipes at her, leaving a nasty cut over her shoulder blade.

"AAAAAAA!!" she declares, eloquently.

It's time for round two of the exciting new game, Run With Sandals To Avoid Death.
DG: Lemina Ausa has used her Tool Chiro Sandals toward her party's challenge, The Reaping.

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
"I hate this place!!" Asteroid just yells. "I hate it I hate it I hate it--"

This continues throughout the rest of this challenge. This time she tries using the portal offensively, setting one in front of the tools chasing them and shooting the other one into a slab of metal se flings into the air. It's now raining tools but--hopefully--behind the party not on them.
DG: Asteroid the Kid has used her Tool Portal Pistols toward her party's challenge, The Reaping.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
"OKAY IF I ADMIT THIS WAS A BAD IDEA WILL THESE THINGS LEAVE US ALONE?" Sephilia cries, running. She's got a stitch in her side and is limping slightly from a twisted ankle she hasn't yet had a chance to look at for treatment, and she hates every minute of this.
DG: Sephilia Lampbright has contributed a Agility Basic Action toward her party's challenge, The Reaping.

=Dungeon Conditions: Overzealous, Weaken, Hesitate============================

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Running continues to work out /remarkably/ well, all truths told! Sephilia's limping along makes it a little hard for her to outpace the tools -- but Asteroid's excellent 'just throw some chaff through some portals' solution keeps her from getting cut up particularly badly by any farm implements.

Once they finally seem to run out of gas and fall still, Lemina glances at Sephy. "... You might wanna take a second here," she says, quietly. "I hope that's just twisted and not, you know, broken..." She remembers the healing potion she nicked earlier, sighs, and tosses it to Sephilia.

She then folds her arms and hunches her shoulders a bit. "... How did you /hear about/ this place, anyway...? I know /you/ mentioned, Asteroid, but..."

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
"A carrot in a trenchcoat told me about it," Asteroid says.

She ... she is lying, right?

Anyway, they come upon a locked door. Asteroid is prepared for this and is already throwing a meteor at it. "LOCKED DOOR!! LOCKED DOOR!!!!!" She screams because this is like the 4th locked door she has run into like this week or so, so.
DG: Asteroid the Kid has used her Tool Asteroid Ball toward her party's challenge, Breaking and Entering.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
"I heard some people telling spooky stories in a bar where Talise was singing the other night," Sephy explains. As Lemina passes her a healing potion, Sephilia grins weakly and passes the potion back. "I've got healing magic and first aid training, remember?" she says. She pulls out a strip of cloth from her bag and wraps her ankle in it for support, then, with a bit of a glow coming from her hands, focuses her magic onto the injury.

"It's okay, Asteroid," Sephilia says, then, standing up and testing her weight on her ankle. It's good! "Chauncey...let's show this door some Foxington Justice!"
DG: Sephilia Lampbright has contributed a Brute Basic Action toward her party's challenge, Breaking and Entering.

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
"I absolutely one hundred percent mega-believe that," Lemina declares.

She ... she is lying, right?

"Oh, good point," Lemina says, pocketing the potion again. ... perfect. Now she gets to keep it! ... or deal with the bleeding at her shoulder blade -- but that cut's pretty shallow, really...

Lemina then turns her attention in earnest to the door itself. Once again, she goes to pick it... but her hairpin breaks. "Okay, bored of doors," she proclaims proudly, electing to instead just blow the damn thing up.

... though she gets a bit of a chill down her spine as she does it, though. What if this draws, like, Every Zombie Ever over?

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
Sephilia has had enough. She's sick of this. No safety in the house--no, of course not! So she makes Chauncey big. "I HATE THIS!" she cries, as she passes Chauncey the folding chair. Chauncey starts laying about, and Sephy unshoulders the Foxington Flintlock, opening fire from his back. Plant goo goes flying.

"I HATE THIS!" Sephilia repeats, pulling out the Foxtail, her newest ARM, and slamming home the cartridge. A merry little tune plays as the harmonica pistol unleashes a fusillade into the fibrous mass of the plants.

Chauncey's folding chair smashes and thwacks while Sephy reloads.

Something tells you she is not happy.

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Lemina steps in and almost immediately gets grabbed by one of the roots, which wraps around her leg and starts to squeeze. Needless to say this makes for a terribly unhappy Lemina that yelps in pain!

This also makes for a very on-fire root, a few moments later. That one, at least, lets go, having been convinced of the error of its ways. "THIS IS WHY FILGAIA IS SCARY!" Lemina declares. "I -- I wanna go hooome..."

Finally, an answer to Asteroid's earlier question! "We never had scary death plants in Vane! We just have a nice little vegetable garden!" More fire. "I miss my mom!" More fire. "It's mega-hot and gross here!" The fire isn't helping that part.
DG: Lemina Ausa has contributed a Combat Basic Action toward her party's challenge, ...And The Stick.

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
Asteroid the Kid says, "This guy again..." She reaches into the pack that she purchased that was full of herbicide crafted expertly by Matilda when--

FLASHBACK

Asteroid the Kid repeatedly affirms to Matilda that no, she doesn't want herbicide. She was not talking about herbicide. She is not going to want herbicide. No herbicide for her. No plant poison. That's not what she's asking for. The materials she's getting aren't for plant killing it's for herself. She wants the drugs. Her. She. Not the plant. The plant isn't being killed with herbicide. That is not what she's after.

"...Oh right." Asteroid says. "Well--there's always..."

Asteroid the Kid promptly summons Rigdobrite from its medium and inflicts a green glow upon the plant that looks distinctly unhealthy. It's not meteors! It's RAD RISER!

"I'll build a rocket ship. It will be safe. And I'll fly you home." She promises to Lemina. "I'm sure--I can make it fit! And everything!!" At least this time she wasn't snagged immediately by its roots and used as a projectile.

The roots and vines give way and at last yield one of their most cherished
treasures: a family photograph, sepia-toned, nearing a decade old, of a
mother, father, and one child. The child has her father's dark hair rather
than her mother's bright blonde, but her mother's eyes and nose. The
photograph looks lightly damaged by salt and water around the edges, but all
 three faces are clearly visible.

Popping it out of the frame and turning it over reveals three names:
Baldwin, Helena, and Matilda, all written in the wobbly handwriting of a
child who learned her letters not so long ago.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
Sephilia shouts out "I want to go home too! But! We're! Brave! Girls!" She punctuates each word with a shot...and finally, the plants give way.

"Huh..." Sephilia pulls out her journal. "I'm going to sketch this, quick...something about this feels...like someone may want to know this is here. Or...maybe doesn't want to." She sketches rapidly. "We're...we're all okay. We're brave. We didn't give up and run away. So...so we just...had a bit of an adventure. Right?"

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Lemina, for her part, just takes a second to lie on the ground limply, staring up at the ceiling. Today's experiment... failed.

"... All we found was a /picture/? UUUuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUUGH," Lemina squalls, as she rolls over on her side to look at Sephy as she sketches. "Well -- and a healing potion, I guess, but that's gonna be mega-stuck inside my stomach before we get out of here, even."

HOW STRANGE THAT SHE DOES NOT SEEM INTERESTED IN THIS MYSTERY OR ITS ORIGINS. WHAT A SPOOKY TWIST.

<Pose Tracker> Sephilia Lampbright has posed.
Sephy frowns. "Like I wouldn't heal you up, Lemina. Just...lemme finish sketching here. I wanna get that plant monster before I can't remember it clearly, and then..."

<Pose Tracker> Asteroid the Kid has posed.
Asteroid wasn't too helpful but folding chairs apparently can triumph over ANY obstacle.

Nevertheless, despite not being too helpful on this journey, Asteroid fully intends to just flat out steal the sepia toned photograph, snatching it much like a goblin would. She stares at it for several moments. She had literally mentioned this exact farmhouse to Matilda and she hadn't said anything. Maybe she didn't know she meant this farmhouse, but she recognizes who the girl is instantly.

She stares into it longer than even that really warrants. She doesn't respond to Lemina's grousing though she'll hold it out so Sephilia can sketch it. She isn't a complete asshole.

"...Matilda..." She says. "...This was her home. These must be her parents..."

She stares at it even longer. A memory comes to her.

MANY YEARS AGO, BUT NOT THAT MANY

"This is your fault!" Father's voice shouts through the walls. "It's--it's because you drank that coffee, that she's ...she's DEFECTIVE."

Lydia can hear from her room. She places stickers on the wall of her room. She tries to think about Shane who is nice to her. She tries to think about Shane who is super cute. Of course, Shane is nice to everybody, it's not like he's really nice to her.

"Don't you blame me!" Mother says. "If only his--her horns would stop growing, she could wear a hat, pass for human... What did we do to the Guardians to deserve this?"

Blaming the Guardians, Lydia thought, that sounded easy. Blame them for all your problems why don't you? Lydia pried free a sticker of the moon and placed it firmly on the wall, grinning at it. "I'm going to make it to you someday." She promised. "Away from here. Going to meet aliens and they'll understand and we'll have adventures and...and it will be better."

"Lower your voice," Dad says. "She might hear us through the walls."

It doesn't matter, Lydia thought, I can see it in your eyes.

NOW

Splotches of water splash against the picture. Asteroid quickly wipes it off. "Tilde...if only I was in your family..." She mutters to herself. "Maybe I could have..."

She realizes she's kind of talking out loud and adds, "Oh--I mean. Whatever. I have to go give this to Matilda. Sorry it's not something really cool. Just a picture, you know? Whatever."

But she has a very firm grip on this 'just a picture'. "Let's blow this popsicle stand."

<Pose Tracker> Lemina Ausa has posed.
Lemina, at long last, actually forces herself up. "... All right. Honestly, I kinda just wanna go home." There's a pause, before she adds, "... back to camp, I mean, not... /home/ home/" She looks a little embarrassed, adding, "Don't... don't tell anyone I said all that other stuff, okay? I just kinda -- panicked, and it was mega-embarrassing!"

She looks from side to side, and breathes a sigh of relief. No one here is going to run off and drag her for having a feeling. ... probably.
