| PRE-EVENT SUMMARY: | Anomalous energy source detected near Azado on Lunar; Tzadkiel launch date moved to effective immediately for investigation and engagement. |
| EVENT SUMMARY: | Azado was observed to have been destroyed upon arrived, cause identified as a cetacean-type entity of abnormal size, power, and psycho-magical pressure. Engagement with entity ensued; entity demonstrated mentioned considerable power upon engagement including gravitational effects typically observed from astronomical bodies. Provided assistance to 2LT van Houten during engagement; entity demonstratively difficult to injure. Refer to Schiehallion's data records from sortie for measured output; many parameters exceeded analysis scale maximums. Drifters and on-foot military observed engaging entity; entity furthermore destroyed significant portions of an unidentified navy. Engagement ceased with gravitational-based attack from entity that further obliterated standing ruins of Azado; retrieval of Etone Ordinand deVriese and loss of contact with 2LT van Houten occurred at this time. Schiehallion suffered heavy damage; retreated to Tzadkiel with EO deVriese before transit to Filgaia ensued (cause unknown at this time). |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Further engagement with or research on unknown entity impossible at present due to return to Filgaia. Similarly impossible to confirm 2LT van Houten's demise with currently available resources or positioning but likely under circumstances. MIA/KIA verification procedures recommended. |
| COMMENTS: | Transmission from Schiehallion (2018/09/01):
(Voice only) "Voss to Tzadkiel. Heavy damage sustained; operating at less than 20% total power. Entity is not dead and appears uninjured; surrounding area is obliterated. Further attacks from it may be incoming." He pauses during transmission. "I've retrieved deVriese. She appears unharmed." Another pause. "...Van Houten may be dead. The last I saw of her the Vierge was shattering under the creature's attack. No sight of her or the Vierge on the scene at present, and no response to my hailing. ...I'm returning with deVriese now. The Schiehallion cannot continue field operations under current conditions." |
