| DESCRIPTION: | Engage and resolve anomalous phenomenon detected in Nisan. |
| PRE-EVENT SUMMARY: | En route to the surface an anomalous energy signal was detected; imaging revealed an unknown entity of considerable size. All officers with Gears were deployed to investigate and engage. |
| EVENT SUMMARY: | Source involved behind anomalous event was determined shortly after arrival on site: POI Omega-08 AKA Neriah Parringer revealed herself as the one controlling the entity, a large airborne crystalline construct. Engaged construct with squad and assembled Drifters. Apparent goal was to 'destroy the god of Nisan's faith'; the means by which this would be accomplished is unknown. Among those noted were the pilot of SLIDE-1 and Rephaim. Also observed was an unknown Gear that had made use of several parts of Vierge; pilot refused my hails and requests to return the parts. Anomalous Ether-type phenomena observed towards ground level; see Recommended Action. Engagement terminated due to immediate intrusion and altercation provoked by the arrival of POI Keil's Gear; I was forced from the field and cannot personally confirm statements presented by rest of squad. Report forthcoming for sortie with Keil's Gear and aftermath. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Determine if remnants of the entity remain on-site in Nisan; this is questionable. Further investigation into extent of Parringer's powers is necessary but an escalation of threat level strongly recommended: as noted above, whatever it is that she is channeling has grown exponentially in strength since my last encounter with her. Ether data collection returned additional concerning information: abnormal phenomena observed towards the ground level was the result of a powerful Ether-user; given the visual effects noted in addition to the strength it may have been Azazel. Finally, parts of the Vierge have fallen into the hands of Drifters and been cannibalized for their Gear; these should be retrieved if at all possible. |
