SCENE LOG: Violence Is Our Language
LOCATION: Aveh Desert
PARTICIPANTS: 2LT Voss, Lily Keil (AKA 'Nova')
DESCRIPTION: Engaged Keil post-removal from incident in Nisan; fighting caused collapse into stalactite caves under the desert. Navigated caves, escaped, and returned to base.
PRE-EVENT SUMMARY: Intrusion from Keil forced removal from the conflict in Nisan against an unknown force apparently under the control of POI Parringer.
EVENT SUMMARY: Gear engagement with Keil in the desert; her Gear is an Ether-capable stealth-focused machine identified as Hellerune. This was allegedly stolen by her from Aveh sandships post the incident at the Guardian Temple; it must be one of ours though I can't identify the model. During engagement Schiehallion's flight unit was damaged and shortly afterwards terrain collapse dropped us into sub-desert caverns. Under the circumstances, I worked with Keil to escape the caverns. We encountered a white Gear of unknown model, seemingly without a pilot; highly likely this was controlled via remote or AI. We were able to trap it in a part of the cavern and make our escape. On the way out we encountered a man calling himself 'Old Man Bal'; he's likely little more than a demented old man but he did mention a few scraps of information -- speaking about 'a paradise taken to the sea' in a strange story about God -- which may suggest he has had contact with a Shevat agent or similar who may have alluded to Etrenank. Due to heavy Gear damage, returned to base after escaping to the surface rather than continue engagement with Keil.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Keil has only furthered her capacity for Ether-oriented destruction and reiterated her vendetta against Gebler; threat reevaluation or further observation of her/her group's activities. Identification of white autonomous Gear advised. Further investigation of the old man and potential contacts may be of interest.
