It was late evening when a faint mist rolled into the sword cathedral and through that mist, a woman in shrouded clothing and her hair pulled back in a pair of braids walked. Her footsteps made faint clicks against the marble floor as she approached where the Guardian Blade Argetlahm once stood. She looked up towards the stained glass visage of the Sword Magess Anastasia and stared directly at it.

Then her lips split into a crooked smile. "I bet you think this is unlike me, huh? I've never been fool enough for churches and it goes well against our reputation. And I know you aren't here."

With a distinct lack of reverence, the woman pulled herself up to sit on top of the Argetlahm's pedestal.

She didn't say anything for a while.

She didn't say anything for a while after that and basked silently under a moonlight filtered through stained glass. She was not in deep thought. She could only think of one thing no matter how inward her gaze turned.

And then she said what she was thinking.

"Five thousand years and I still haven't met anyone quite like you."

She pulled her hat free from her head, gazing up.

"The time of promise is coming. I just want you to know...that I will see you again. The real you. I've never stopped thinking of you and I never will." She placed a hand on her chest. "You'll never be alone, no matter where I go."

There honestly wasn't much else to say. There was too much to say but it was nothing that couldn't wait until she was holding her hand again and that is when she'd say those things. Right now, she had to ensure that which started would come to an end.

She slid off the pedestal, placed her hat back on, and vanished into the mist.
