The Meria Bouletin is an... ...obscure newspaper that prides itself on covering unorthodox topics. As of very recently, it seems to have been a one-person publication. It tends to sit on the bottom shelf in corner stores and seems to more often get used as wrapping for fish and chips or fuel for chimney starters. But a new mysterious reporter KAMUI seems to be adding new unorthodox stories, mui:

ONE HOT DIGGER TIP MONSTERS HATE!!

It is often said that Moblins and Octoroks hide beneficial items inside of pots, such as recovery hearts or small magic jars and even arrows and bombs. Look under every nook and cranny to get the edge in Digging!

This has led to the urban legend of the Emerald Rascal of Aquvy, a mysterious and small figure dressed in green who will leave no pot or bushel of grass upturned. It is also claimed that said Emerald Rascal has been waging an ancient war against the noble Cucco, and upon sight such a distressing battle could erupt and threaten all of Filgaia once more.

Is there any truth behind this claim? Find out in the next... Meria Bouletin, mui...!

DAILY ARMENGARD FACT CHECK

Armengard Wisdom (Mar. 12)

A chicken in Guara Bobelo laid golden eggs once, said Armengard. Our inteprid reporter visited Guara Bobelo to investigate the truth of the story. However, this reporter only discovered a comfortable nest of cuccos. Cuccos only lay normal eggs and not golden. When asked about golden eggs, locals looked at this reporter like she was, in fact, totally cucco.

Next week the Meria Bouletin will investigate the truth about rumors about pollution and environmental damage. Stay cucco-tuned, mui.

Bouletin Truth-o-Meter: Totally Cucco

FRIENDS ON HIGH PLACES

Adlehyde City Centre Clock Tower

  • A photograph of a high clock tower spire overlooking Adlehyde's town square. The Starfall Saloon can be seen just off the focal point.*

Very comfortable high place to stand on. Spire is a bit pointy for the inexperienced. But balance is incredibly good. For maximum comfort and a different view, also try standing on clock hands. But, maintenance workers got upset because the time got misaligned. Weird.

Rating: 8/10

S.S. Archibald

  • A photograph of the very top of a flagpole ontop the S.S. Archibald, so named after the King of Meria Boule. It overlooks... an overcast ocean, which looks somewhat rough.*

Medium-difficulty high place to stand on. A little slippery in wet weather. Inquired to captain about standing on top of the chimney stack. But he got mad for some reason?? Overall, it was a success. This is the way.
