2019-05-28: Are You The Big Ladle or The Little Ladle, Lunie?

<Pose Tracker> Lunata Croze has posed.

LUNATA CROZE has had a heck of time in Spira including: deciding to self-terminate! Joining a new religion! Confessing her attraction to Jacqueline! Making out with Shalune! Fashioning herself a new Big Shal Disaster Girl! Leaving all her earthly possessions behind bar the Yugu jacket and the sword that won't leave her alone! Realising Marivel knows Ge Ramda and feeling more like a jerkbag for it! And also--

Arriving at the city with the Farplane on it.

Faced with the decision after leaving Maester Seymour and gaining free time, there was two choices for her--

a) Try to walk into the Farplane to see if it'll destroy you

or, as she decided after a brief struggle

b) go back to the Moonflow and gush over Shoopuf some more

And it is such in the banks of the Moonflow that people can find the Lunies; Lunata herself is perched on an outcropping with a pair of binoculars, watching some people ride the Shoopuf.

"it's the most majestic creature. i feel complete and fulfilled now," Lunata mumbles distractedly.

<Pose Tracker> Josephine Lovelace has posed.

There are times in the world when everything seems just fine as it is. Everything is right, and whatever troubles you might have had have now departed, at least for the moment.

It is one such moment that Lunata Croze experiences now.

And it is into this same moment that one Josephine Lovelace intrudes.

A gloved hand pats Lunata right on the head. Without warning.

"Little Bear! Long time no see," the wayward archaeologist-turned-unofficial-Crusader declares.

She's... still wearing the armor, though the helmet that had gone with it seems to have been abandoned somewhere. Back on Mushroom Rock Road, to be precise about it.

Josie doesn't move her hand, leaving it resting atop Lunata's head.

"Pretty cool, ain't they?"

<Pose Tracker> Shalune Amira has posed.

Sat next to the other girl, her legs dangling off the outcropping as she kicks them back and forth, Shalune frowns. "Lunie, you're using the lower-case voice again," she puffs, without even breaking the fourth wall - but despite the complaint, her eyes dance with mirth and excitement. "Besides, couldn't we be a whole lot more complete and fulfilled if we were actually /ri~iding/ the shoopuf again? The guy was gonna give us a discount if we went any more often."

Shalune looks a lot more at ease with herself, now, compared to a couple of weeks ago. There are still problems on the horizon, sure, but she's aired her worries and her thoughts and mostly sorted them out, leaving herself free to enjoy whatever time she has left with Lunata and more ready to talk about it.

She's also gone native. Though she'd never call herself a fighter she's gotten attracted to a swordsman's set of robes, a white top and a long blue pleated skirt. A sword at her side completes the samurai look, though the way it hangs suggests it might not be the right kind of weight to be genuine, while her best has a large collection of little wooden charms and other interesting bits of crafts dangling from it.

A fresh pad of paper is on her lap; she's been taking every chance to sketch the Moonflow, but is only just daring to risk including actual colour, branching out her sketching ability a little. She cranes back at the noise-- then lights up in a grin. "Miss Josie! You're okay! Jeez, it's been a long while, huh?"

<Pose Tracker> Elhaym van Houten has posed.

And speaking of swords.

You see, quite recently Elly had a breakthrough. It was not the end of the road, nor even the beginning of the end of the road, but it was perhaps the end of the beginning. She has, in short, touched a power that she was born knowing once again. And she has also learned the greatest magic of all.

"Hello," Elly says as she walks up in her sandals, having come some few paces behind Josie, to whom she also smiles. "This is really great luck. I mean, astonishing. I have the perfect gift for you... for all of you!"

She's smiling! It's a little cheek-dimply but it's a good look on her, perhaps. And why is she smiling? And what is that mysterious package wrapped in a big old banana leaf under her arm...???

But her attention is briefly stolen at the sight of.

ze shoopuf.

<Pose Tracker> Fei Fong Wong has posed.

"Man shoopufs are amazing," Fei says quietly. "Their stoic presence belies soft hearts, and I just feel like...they probably make very adorable babies."

He has come along with Elly though he doesn't typically stay for long in Guadosalam because it freaks him out but the Moonflow is nice and very pretty and has shoopufs! But he does seem to be in a good mood... a great mood even! This may be partly because of the fishing but lets face it, most of it is just because Elly's recovery is going well! He's so happy about that he might actually start smiling more often than he frowns! He wonders what that'd be like!!

He notices Lunata, Shalune, and Josie after and he says, "Oh hoi there." He calls over. "Fancy meeting all of you here!"

He is still grinning incessantly.

<Pose Tracker> Lunata Croze has posed.

LUNATA CROZE is also, despite having now in title of having helped slay Mother and fend off Vinsfeld Rhadamantus, reigning champion over the events at Lacour's Tournament at Arms and other such accomplishments--

--still short enough for Josie to pet on the head like a munchkin.

"mrgrgr..." Lunata's cheeks puff up a little, "I'm going to become a big bear one day. Even if I can't grow anymore..." Not that life, if Shalune is any indication (oh my god Shalune is like 3 years older now physically than her), would've helped her situation anyway.

She raises her eyebrows to go, "... I haven't seen you in ages. Did you manage to miss Leon and the other Wolves or something?" She looks at the armor for a moment.

Lunata herself is wearing Spiran garments, like Shalune -- but hers is a bit more formal, and visibly the yukata-like robes of a swordsman belonging to the Yevon order; the robes part with skinny pants ending in greaves, because she's got more in the way of physical activity when fighting than Shalune.

... it'd look convincing, except the tactical Yggdrasil Alliance jacket worn ontop kind of clashes with the whole aesthetic. Why'd she keep it anyway?

"... we shouldn't just ride the shoopuf-- for the sake of riding the shoopuf," Lunata folds her arms and huffs aloud. "And I don't have a lower case voice!"

Elly comes up behind Josephine, though, and that prompts her to raise an eyebrow. Well, at least she's in good spirits. A package in a banana leaf? Is it food? "Oh, hey, Miss Elly, Mister Fei."

<Pose Tracker> Josephine Lovelace has posed.

At that comment, Josie only... laughs. "You know what," she says after a moment. "There's nothing wrong with dreaming. Reach for the stars, kiddo!"

Which is about when Shalune greets her in kind. "It has, hasn't it? All this business has been a right mess," she says, coupling the statement with a lopsided smile.

"But to answer your question, kiddo," and she gives Lunata one last pat on the head before removing her hand, "something like that. One minute I was washing my face after, well, I guess saving the world again," and she interjects long enough to wave her left hand dismissively through the air, "and then there was a face in the water, and the next thing I know... I'm back on the moon. So I hid the cannon, took a look around, and..."

She trails off as Elly and Fei make their approach, apparently struggling now to keep a straight face on.

"...And that's the long and short of it," she concludes, peeling off to greet the two.

"Red. Junior. How's life treating you?"

She has at least reunited with the Black Wolves so there's that, but...

<Pose Tracker> Shalune Amira has posed.

"Ooh," Shalune cranes further back as Elly and Fei walk up, so far back that she's almost horizontal; she raises her hand to wave, even if it's at a slightly unusual angle that knocks her hand against Josie's shins. "He~ey," she calls, looking pleased at the way that Fei appears to have an upside-down frown on her face from her current vantage point. "Oh, oh, Mr. Fei! How does this look? I'm tryin' to scribble crayon so it looks like watercolours, but it's my first time trying."

She holds her small pad up for the man to take - and it shows, too. The attempt is blotchy and her black lines are much too strong and she's a draftsman and sketcher far more than she is any kind of actual artist - but she seems proud enough regardless that she's trying something new.

"Then what if we rode the shoopuf for emotional wellbeing and enjoyment?" she huffs out at Lunata, her eyes still alight with upbeat glee. "That'd fly, right? What about if the shoopuf's obviously hungry and we can dangle some ferns and long leaves in front of it as we ride it?" she adds as she pokes the other girl lightly in the side, her voice suddenly turning into what she calls her 'Granny' tone. "And don't think you can hide your hatred of capitals from me, young lady! I had to listen to that voice for months!"

"Yeah..." she recovers herself as she glances back up at Josie again. "It's been pretty wild, even if you don't count everything else going on." It's an incredibly nebulous answer, especially for Shalune, who tends to leak details like a sieve leaks water; she scratches at her hair for a moment, then breaks back into a sunny grin. "But, we're all good in the end, or at least we're still trucking along!"

<Pose Tracker> Elhaym van Houten has posed.

"Why not?" Elly asks Lunata.

Then she's having her package eyed. Elly lets her package hang down in her hand with a meaty slap as she smiles at Josie, and says, "I suppose it's going well. I've been really getting into fishing lately... well. Lately is a bit of an exaggeration. I found an old ARM fishing rod, or something like that, on the Thunder Plains."

She holds out the wrapped package.

"I wanted to share this with all of you," Elly says. "And I wanted to ask you for a little favor, Lunata. If... I mean, if you have time."

And inside of the package...

Are eight big, reasonably-fresh swordfish steaks. They've been marinated in a salty bath of citrus juice, probably so they can be packaged around reasonably safely despite still being fresh. And they *are* fresh - they must have been caught, like, yesterday!

"... the shoopuf eats ferns?" Elly asks. She looks at the huge beast, then looks towards the fern quotient on the shores. "... I don't know anything about ferns. Is that safe?"

<Pose Tracker> Fei Fong Wong has posed.

"Wh...why not?" Fei says, looking very sad. "Why can't we ride the shoopuf just to ride the shoopuf? Does it bother the shoopuf?"

He would, of course, avoid riding the shoopuf if it turned out the shoopuf didn't appreciate it but honestly it'd be such a race, to be barred from shoopufs so soon after learning of their value. It'd be like one of those really sad and twisty twilight zone episodes.

There was time now. It isn't fair. There was time now!

"They're really good!" Fei says, jerking a thumb towards himself. "They have the Fei Guarantee of optimal deliciousness!"

This means nothing. Fei will eat pretty much anything.

"Good to see you, Lunies." Fei nods once, raising an eyebrow as he starts to realize Lunata is wearing not just a Spiran outfit but a Yevon outfit. He gives Lunata a quizzical look before nodding once. "Hope everyone on the Yggdrasil's okay."

He looks back to Josie and adds, "Well we've been taking it easy. Elly's recovery is going really well too. I've been really impressed. But right now we don't want to accidentally overdo it just because it feels like there's been a lot of improvement you know? Patience is key."

<Pose Tracker> Elhaym van Houten has posed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Citan made the marinade. He still hasn't put his shirt back on.

[OOC] Josephine Lovelace says, "tellin' all the ladies that sorry, he's married"

<Pose Tracker> Lunata Croze has posed.

".... at least you were washing your face," Lunata glumly says. "I was in a giant melee with at least six of Odessa's gears when I got plucked -right- out of the Rephaim. Still have no idea how Franz and Sigurd and Maitreya's doing..."

She puts her hands to the pocket of her jackets.

Fei asks how everyone there is, which, for once, seems to make her a bit emotional. "... I'm sure they'll be OK, even without me. We uh-- I didn't-- Franz was trying to work me through a panic attack when we got warped."

... in the middle of battle??

She looks to Shalune again with that what-have-you puff, scratching her head as she remarks, "W-well, maybe, but..." A pause. "And why shouldn't you hate capital-ists?"

dun dun dunnn

The battle against capitalism will have to wait, though, because Elly reveals food. Her eyes light up.

"Swordfish steaks..." Lunata expresses as she crouches and takes an experimental sniff. "It's fresh enough to be eaten for sashimi, even. Do you want them grilled, or?"

A pause, as she dares ask the dangerous question as she looks to Shalune:

"Should we.... ....lazy camp?"

A subtle gleam of round eyes peers from the woods at them. *peeeeer...*

<Pose Tracker> Josephine Lovelace has posed.

"You were fighting that lot, eh?" Josie says, her dark eyes flitting Lunata's way now. "Don't suppose you know anything more about them? I heard that message loud and clear, sure enough, but I suppose you could say I'm a touch... out of the loop otherwise." She hooks her thumb into her belt, a crooked and self-effacing smile now gracing her expression.

"Though it did get me some coin for my pocket, so it's not as if I've got anything to crab about," she adds, almost as an afterthought.

Shalune's vagued-up answer, at least, does earn the younger girl a questioning look, accompanied by a slight tilt of the head.

"Heh. Lunie, anything you can walk out of's a good situation," is her apparent assessment of /that/.

Her lips quirk in a movement that almost suggests a barely held laugh, one that she's keeping at bay for reasons that remain her own as the lot of them continue to discuss whether or not they should ride the shoopuf.

Elly chimes in about what she's been up to, then.

"Still fishing, huh? Catch anything good?"

Elly shows her.

Josie's eyebrows disappear into her bangs. "...Damn, kiddo," she murmurs, stooping to investigate the steaks more closely. "You have any idea how much those would go for back home? ...too damn much is a start."

She straightens, regarding Fei. Then she nods. "Heh. I've always heard that taking it easy is best with an injury, but I've never been one to try it myself..." As Lily would know /full well/. "Well, good luck with it, you two."

<Pose Tracker> Shalune Amira has posed.

"O~oh," chimes Shalune as she peers at the pile of swordfish steaks, her eyebrows going up. For all that Adlehyde is a port, she's never actually been that big a fish eater - she prefers things that can be stewed or taken with her dried like jerky - but Spira's doing a lot to reverse that, and she can't deny how good they look. She glances up at Elly with a thankful grin, and smirks. "Well, if the shoopuf didn't like them, it certainly didn't /complain/. I mean, it seemed happy enough to chew a whole ton."

Shalune is distinctly not in a Yevon outfit, at least. If there's any surprise it's that she's not matching Lunata, given how close to the other girl she's stuck all this time - but she lookss a lot more comfortable as she is now, and it's not like she's sneaking any less glances towards the other girl. More, even.

"Hey," she greets Fei back. "I mean, they seemed okay last we saw them. Dunno what's going on in Filgaia, but they're tough enough that I'm sure they'll pull through," she exclaims in general - and then hesitates for a moment as she glances towards the girl next to her, her tone turning gentler. "Maybe-- maybe we can get them a message somehow. Or I can always ferry one back to them after getting back. But I'm sure they'd understand, either way."

Her gaze flicks towards Josephine for a moment, and she tries an encouraging grin as she nods. "Right. It's good to see everyone still managing. Dunno how we get home, but I guess it's just the matter of finding the right weird old ruin or tablet or something." Still, as responses go, it's a little non-committal. /Her/ walking out of the situation has never been the issue.

But she's happy to let that thought go the next moment, when Lunata speaks up. "Lazy camping... maybe if we're close enough to the banks, we can have the shoopuf come over and say hello..." she murmurs, instantly and completely drawn to the idea. "Do they-- roost or something, for the night? Could we paddle out to them?"

<Pose Tracker> Elhaym van Houten has posed.

Elly feels an obscure guilt. Should she have been fighting Odessa, too?

Well, she thinks - buoyed by the support of friends, of beloved ones, and of the prospect of food - one war at a time. She smiles at Josie, a little softly. "Dr. Uzuki said that seafood's more abundant in these waters, but I know it's a little rare, isn't it? I think that I got lucky... and of course, without Fei, I don't think I could have caught it at all."

INSERT: THE SECRETS OF "RPS" PANEL 1: Elly falls into the ocean and makes a >o==== < face as a swordfish leaps into the air. PANEL 2: It falls towards Fei!! "I've got it... SCISSORS!" PANEL 3: the_forbidden_ultimate_spell_ultima.gif PANEL 4: Everyone is eating grilled swordfish. "Fish always do paper," Fei says. "(It's messed up.)"

To Lunata, Elly says, "Please, use them however you wanted. I was carrying them so that we could cook later, or sell them - I hope they're still fresh. If you're going to cook them, though, I'll certainly take my share."

A pause then.

"... What makes it lazy camping?" Elly asks.

It is to Fei that Elly murmurs, "Do you remember what Dr. Uzuki said was the secret for fishing in fresh water? Maybe I can fish here, too."

She's gone mad.

"I hope Franz and everyone on the Ygg are alright. I haven't heard of Bart or Sigurd, or the Yggdrasil, so I suppose perhaps Rhadamanthus didn't see them as a threat... or perhaps they were too far away, back in Ignas?"

<Pose Tracker> Fei Fong Wong has posed.

Fei Fong Wong doesn't feel too much guilt at not fighting Odessa because his alt is doing that overtime as is. But maybe he should at least get a couple matches in with them just to see what they're really about. He suspects it's world domination since you don't make everybody watch you speak for an hour before teleporting them off world because you have humble goals.

"Gosh, Elly, you're really on a role." Fei beams. "But I'm sure fishing can be part of lazycamping." He really wants to do lazycamping. Ever since he did an experimental lazycamp with Elly well--

--well, Lunata and Shalune are friends even if they found religion and he'd like to do something nice with them.

"I've noticed that with the Wolves," Fei smiles at Josie. "And it's not like we're entirely idle. You should see Elly's moves with her staff. It's really impressive."

He smiles to Lunata as well. "Yeah...Franz is a good guy. He helped me out a lot while I was staying on the ship too. Though i guess he didn't have much choice because I kept waking him up."

He laughs it off somehow.

<Pose Tracker> Lunata Croze has posed.

"I've actually fought Vinsfeld in person since then, at Operation Mi'ihen," Lunata answers Josephine, not sounding less glum for it. "All I know is that he's got a lot of thumbs in many pies. Jay was fighting Matilda when we were teleported, even. I guess he's the kind whose words convince a lot of vulnerable people."

She sounds pretty dour about that.

"For what I know... I know they secured the Sorcery Globe, so that's a worry," Lunata comments to Josephine. "They're pretty well armed and funded... Vinsfeld himself-- had a lot of Symbology accessories on his body to help him keep up, so I assume he's got personal Symbologists helping his cause." She adds for Josie's benefit, "I don't know if I know the personal mark on the symbols, though."

She seems to want to drop it there, since she looks to Elly and smiles tiredly and says on the topic of the Yggdrasil, "... I don't know, honestly. I'll hope they're all right. I..."

She looks to her jacket and squeezes it around herself for a moment.

"I do miss them. I tried getting rid of the jacket but it felt... wrong." She sucks in a fairly sober breath as she looks to Fei. "Yeah. He's got my back in and out of missions..."

But now is the time for camping, and she and Shalune get to work fairly quickly in setting up a small portable grill -- a hibachi with natural charcoal and a square-shaped metal grill ontop -- and lets the rest of the seats and other creature comforts to her Lunie in waiting.

"What makes it lazy, you ask...? Well, I think it's about making sure you put your worries aside, even if it might be hard, and force yourself to take a break."

Kind of a hypocrite, this one. But then she takes out a particularly sharp-looking Kitchen Knife. Shalune might notice it's the one that was stuck onto her chest. "I've got a new filleting knife, courtesy of that odd creature in the cave. Let me prep the fish and we'll get underway with lunch soon."

The distant tree-hiding figure with the gleaming round eyes is puffing up with a flushed pout... t-they're using her knife...!!

<Pose Tracker> Josephine Lovelace has posed.

"You did, did you? So he's here..." This is in regards to Mi'ihen; Josie regards Lunata with an appraising look. "...Matilda? So she's with them..." This is in regards to other news delivered at present. Josie loosely folds her arms over her chest, her gaze tilted down towards the bank.

"Hmm."

She lifts her head, her attention off and across the Moonflow. "...Don't worry about it, kiddo. I'm sure I'll get a look-see myself soon enough." This, on the subject of the Symbols the man allegedly bore. "Someone like that's not going to keep a low profile, that's for sure."

She sighs out a breath, then pivots towards the rest of them.

She unfolds her arms, spreading her arms wide at Shalune's report. "See? Just keep on doing what you're doing. Something should turn up eventually, and if it doesn't... I guess in a pinch we could steal one of them boats from the Guard and cross the sea. Figure it out from there. Azado, wasn't it?" Pause. "Don't suppose any of you know much about sailing? I don't! But I do think I could learn~"

that would be a disaster of outstanding proportions wouldn't it

"It's a bad habit," she informs Fei, comment paired with a quick flash of a grin. "But how about you show me what you got sometime, kiddo? --Not /on/ me, of course," she adds, with a shake of her head. "I just plan on watching~"

Speaking of Elly, Josie just sighs at Elly's second-hand report from the good doctor himself. "No kidding. I think even in Aquvy those would sell for a good sum. Spira might be a Guardians-damned mess, but it's sure got the sea's blessing..."

Which is then that the archaeologist directs her attention back to... Lunata.

"I dare say we'll need a dab hand with /this/," she says, jerking her head at the steaks. "Call it a little extra payment for the lessons?" she teases.

Though her gaze does rest a moment on that knife. ...That knife looks like it could cut a leaf that fell on its edge in two. "In a cave, huh? Pretty friendly-like of it..."

<Pose Tracker> Shalune Amira has posed.

"It's lazy camping because you don't have to do anything but be lazy. You curl up in blankets next to a warm fire with some tasty food cooking over it, and you just sorta zone out and relax and take in how pretty the area is and talk about nothing and everything," explains Shalune brightly. Of course, in her head, a treacherous couple of brain cells substitute 'curl up in blankets' to 'curl up with Lunata in blankets' and now her ears and cheeks are tinged pink, but that works out too as far as she's concerned.

She kicks up to her feet to start helping Lunata get things set up, but she's still thinking as she listens to Josie and Fei discuss the Wolves. "To be honest, I think that's the case for most people I've met. None of us really had any time to prepare for Spira, it was just-- bam!-- so it's not like we have a whole lot of idea what to do here. I'm helping out here and there, but it's not like I can do most of my usual work when they get so twitchy at machina. All we can do is look around and wait things out, have a bit of a holiday."

Somewhere, on a secluded inland, Big Shal uses two entire palm trees as her hammock.

"You're using /that/ knife?" the pink-haired mechanic adds at the sight of Lunata's new gear, her eyebrows rocketing upwards as she looks up from where she's rapidly setting up a small but comfortable-looking tent, pulling blanket after blanket from the pack she'd been shouldering. "I mean, uh-- look, last time I saw it filleting /anything/ it was--" her gaze flicks to the rest of the group and she clears her throat, before puffing out a breath. Lunata knows what she's doing, right? Probably. She is completely oblivious to the gaze that levels itself on the group, but rest assured, as someone who has basically no grudge about her whatsoever, she's ready to hug it into submission any day.

"Um, Miss Josie, that sounds like a really cool way to get eaten, or at least shipwrecked like woah," she adds, remarkably blunt and deadpan by the mechanic's standards - but she still looks upbeat as she flops down onto some of the assorted blankets and starts to shuffle her butt over towards Lunata's side. "And I'm pretty sure you'd just be the most vengeful, waterlogged Unsent ever, so don't do that. Weaponized seaweed would just be awful."

<Pose Tracker> Josephine Lovelace has posed.

"Can't blame a girl for trying," is the sum total of Josie's response to that grim potential fate. "I'm not quite ready to retire from my illustrious career, you know, even if it's in a place with easy swordfish steaks."

<Pose Tracker> Lunata Croze has posed.

"The knife healed me when that creature stabbed me! I'm so proud!" Lunata's Idiot side emerges straight on through. "I clearly have done so much cooking in my life I absorb damage from kitchen utensils now!"

...

...

...

The distant creature is holding her little stubby arms over her head, as if in excruciating shame.

<Pose Tracker> Josephine Lovelace has posed.

If there were a good single-word description to the expression Josie now wears, 'nonplussed' might be a good start.

"Kiddo..." she groans, after a spell.

<Pose Tracker> Elhaym van Houten has posed.

Elly watches the grilling. "Well," she says - "That's what I wanted to ask you about... do you think you could teach me to -"

"cook" Elly says in very small letters as Lunata brings up her damage immunity from cooking utensils.

<Pose Tracker> Shalune Amira has posed.

Shalune is her new and improved self, and she's learning that sometimes means being understanding and patient far beyond the bounds of what she might have been before. Besides, she's-- well, okay, it's nothing about patience and more that she's willing to let Lunata have this victory, whether real or imagined, because if it offers some enjoyment and comfort she's totally fine with that.

"Does this mean I can't threaten you with a ladle?" she wonders as she peers at Lunata's work. "Or is it that you can threaten me with a ladle /real good/? ... I'm not sure what the perfect empowered ladle would do, anyways. Probably never drip, right? Now that'd be really useful."

<Pose Tracker> Elhaym van Houten has posed.

("Which one's the ladle?" asks Elly.)

<Pose Tracker> Lunata Croze has posed.

Lunata sags for a moment at Josephine, then at Elly and Shalune as she immediately reels (Elly just got a fishing rod, so she can positively listen to the 'vrrrrt' noise) it back to her mind with a faux-playing-it-cool look of, "I--I'm joking! I'm not that big of an idiot!" she shoots herself in the foot.

She looks at the knife again, huffing. "Ladles are a different matter. You can really dish out the damage with that."

She looks to Elly, though, and settles down as she says, "... of course I'd teach you how to cook. Why don't we start with these steaks? Grilling is real easy, the main thing you want to do is to not poke at it too much. You want it to spend some time on the surface so it develops some nice grill marks..."

("I'm the big ladle," insists Lunata.)
