=====================<* Sylvaland City - Eastwise Lake *>=====================

Eastwise Lake sits on the eastern side of Sylvaland. The lake is a popular recreational area for Sylvalanders. A few very wealthy homes sit on it, but vast portions have been left open as parks by royal order. Boats can be rented, to take a pleasant trip out on the lake. Additionally, small stands sell refreshments to those enjoying some recreation. The far shore is wooded and unsettled, providing a pleasant natural view.

First order of business whenever you find yourself in unfamiliar environs: explore the heck out of everything. This is the Xantia way. After all, you never know where the next clue to one's lost memories might be. Having been to so many places all over Filgaia without anyone recognizing her, it wouldn't be strange for her to be from some island nation or another, never really having traveled until she somehow got displaced from there.

And ending up in the middle of Great Aveh Desert. Somehow. Magic exists, it's possible! You have to think positively about these things. Even when all the evidence is stacked against it, that doesn't make it an impossibility!

And so, with her usual optimistic outlook, Xantia has come to Silvaland, to see the people and the sights. And eat all the food, naturally. After wandering about for some time, she's ended up at the lakeside, which has many sensible options for recreation. So she's chosen to hang upside-down from a tree by her legs while eating an apple.

What? Just because there's sensible options doesn't mean she's going to pick one of those. Besides, this happens to be a perfectly good spot right on top of a hill, providing a broad general view of the area. Doesn't matter if it's upside-down, it's still a nice view!

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Boudicca has posed.

Sylvaland... happens to be where one of Boudicca's friends is weathering! A friend who happens to be part of ARMS, and would you look at that, Boudicca isn't the only Seraph Marivel has collected into her nest.

Yes, there are more friends. Like her fellow Clarine, with whom Boudicca chats amicably as they stroll away, down past the lake, because the lake is pretty and there are lots of humans having a good time and that's a great reason to visit anywhere.

"... so imagine my surprise," Boudicca says, gesturing with a gauntlet-clad hand, "to find the chocobo simply pecked the balloon out of existence! I suppose it was part of the race, after all. Still, they are marvelous birds, are they not?" It seems she's discussing the various activities of the Calm Lands, in a land far from here.

In her bright conversation, it takes her a moment, passing the tree, to register what she's just seen.

        At which point, she stops.

And she looks over to Clarine.

And she asks: "Was that human... upside-down?"

Lo does Boudicca turn back, and approach the tree, with a quizzical expression. "Er... Xantia, yes? You... erm... you appear to mis-configured to gravity. Are you well..?" Boudicca casts another look back to Clarine. Are... are humans like bats? Boudicca is pretty sure humans are not like bats.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Clarine has posed.

Indeed! There are quite a few Seraph Friends in ARMS. Clarine is, as always, pleased to enjoy the company of friends, and so the day sees her strolling alongside Boudicca - or, rather, gliding gently just above the ground alongside Boudicca. When you can float, you don't need to touch the ground... and it makes her look a bit taller than she actually is, so it's a win-win.

"Goodness!" Clarine gasps in surprise, a hand covering her mouth, as Boudicca recounts her tale. "And, yes, they certainly are... So willful, and yet so gentle... and prodigiously feathery...!"

Soon, they pass a certain tree, where a certain someone is perched. The sight of this certain someone catches Clarine's eye, and without missing a beat she turns and offers her a wave.

"Ah, Xantia...! It is good to see you!" She greets brightly.

...The fact that Xantia is currently upside down doesn't appear to register to her as an unusual sight at all.

<Pose Tracker> Xantia has posed.

Some people look like humans and are like bats. Just look up some classic stories about Crimson Nobles, they're full of them. Xantia has read enough that she could possibly be imitating one right now! Except she totally isn't, she just likes to hang upside-down from high places. No reason.

Of course since this is her Normal she sees no problem with this, and doesn't actually give any explanation. She doesn't even seem to understand the question the Seraph who approaches her first is asking, just giving Boudicca a quizzical look while working on the latest bite she took from her apple. She takes a moment to think about that one before giving a response.

"Ahem. You appear to have mis-configured your eyes."

She smiles brightly, very pleased with herself. "That's what they call a 'snappy comeback'! I think. It's the first time I tried one of those. How'd I do?"

See, it doesn't take a Seraph to not really understand why humans do some of the things they do. Amnesia can work for that too. Or maybe that's just Xantia.

Either way, there's no actual reason for the 'snappy comeback', it just seemed to be the sort of thing people might say. Instead of clarifying further, she just swings by her legs for a short moment before launching herself from the branch, nimbly flipping in the air and landing on her feet. She casually takes another bite from her apple while finally properly returning Clarine's wave with her free hand, then talks with her mouth full, but intelligibly enough.

"Anyway, good to see you both made it back here too!" Her cheer fades a bit when she considers further what that means, swallowing before she asks, "So... that means you went through that place, right, the shrine? Was that, um... uncomfortable?" She felt pretty uncomfortable herself by that man who seemed to have totally absorbed a Seraph, she can only imagine how it would make other Seraphs feel.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Boudicca has posed.

"Eh..?" Boudicca blinks, looking from Clarine (totally unperturbed) to Xantia (who just told her her eyes were broken). She reaches up with a hand and rubs at them, face all scrunching up. "But I was so sure I was operating to a usual level of humanity..."

Boudicca... seems to be taking Xantia's statement entirely at face value.

Luckily, Xantia clarifies. "Well, I never!" Boudicca huffs, lowering her hand, before she shakes her head and smiles the offence off. "I suppose you have 'gotten me good', Xantia." A beat, and she looks to Clarine, asking: "That is the statement they make at times such as these, is it not..?"

Luckily, midst her search for answers, Xantia restructures herself to be rightside-up again, and the universe breathes a sigh of relief. Boudicca doesn't seem terribly bothered by her talking with her mouth full. Perhaps that's not manners for all types of humans! There are lots of humans in the world.

        AND THEN: DISCOMFORT.

"... er... that is..." Boudicca - who has freely chattered with Clarine but who has never even approached the subject of the Light Shrine - now looks to her, with a light grimace which speaks to just how uncomfortable the subject is. Clarine, help!!

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Clarine has posed.

Xantia delivers... a snappy comeback!! Clarine gasps in surprise! But, neither of them appear to be actually insulted, so Clarine can internally feel a little relieved at that.

"Yes, that is correct!" Clarine confirms with a nod toward Boudicca, and then to Xantia with a single, appreciative clap. "You both did quite well...!"

This was certainly a very high quality Human Exchange of Words.

"Yes - and I am glad to see that you have returned safely, as well..." Clarine replies, with a polite bow of her head. And then, Xantia brings up the shrine, and its discomfort. Clarine glances away quietly, but then she catches sight of Boudicca's expression. ...It looks like she feels much the same way about it.

"...'Uncomfortable' is perhaps... the best way to put it. On a... deeply spiritual level." Clarine murmurs. ...Of course, being spirits themselves, perhaps one could say pretty much anything that happens to them affects them on a spiritual level. "For what it's worth... I quite enjoyed it until the very end..."

The very end, of course, is when they ran into Octavio. Other than that, it makes sense that Clarine would have enjoyed it - it was a shrine dedicated to light, after all.

<Pose Tracker> Xantia has posed.

It's funny because Bouddica reacts the exact same way Xantia likely would have if she were on the receiving end of her own 'snappy comeback'. Doesn't feel strange to her at all to see a confused reaction until it's explained to you that it was in fact, a snappy comeback. This is all operating entirely according to her level.

She is thus most pleased to hear that she did it right, doing a fistpump in celebration. "Alright! Nailed it!" And then promptly looks to Clarine to ask, "That's... the thing people say when they got something totally right, isn't it? I wasn't talking about hammering in actual nails or anything. I don't even have any nails. Well, I have these, but that's different." She holds up her right hand to show that yes, her fingers do in fact have nails. It looks like she may have a habit of biting them. Tragic.

That whole tangent aside, Xantia nervously nibbles on her apple when she can clearly tell that did in fact hit upon an uncomfortable subject. But, there's a deeper reason for bringing that up. Clarine may already suspect what it is.

For her part, she pretty much expected to hear something like that from Clarine, smiling faintly at that final comment. "That's what I said to myself when we were exploring in there, I said, 'Clarine would love this place'." And then that happened. Xantia's smile fades away, and she looks off to the side.

"...Maybe that's what I almost did to you, that one time."

She quickly turns her head back to face the Seraphs, gesturing wildly as she continues, "I didn't mean to, honest! That's the last thing I would've wanted to happen, and I'm so glad it didn't, but it could have, and I... I really need to be more careful about doing things when I don't know what I'm doing!"

...Boudicca may be more than a little lost right about now. But hey, Xantia is kind of confused about all this too, it's okay to be confused together.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Boudicca has posed.

Clarine, who clearly knows how humans work, deems them to have had a Proper Quip Interaction, and Boudicca smiles, clapping her hands together briefly. "Excellent! Worry not," she adds, to Xantia, "I am sure 'nailed it' is appropriate terminology for this circumstance."

She is... markedly less enthusiastic, about the subject of the Light Trial. Boudicca lets Clarine do the talking, shifting her weight from one foot to the other, with the sound of metal hitting metal as her plate armour shifts. Clarine loved it, would have loved it...

The discomfort of her expression grows graven, as Xantia looks away and adds that trailing phrase. Lips pulled over teeth; a narrowing of grey-green eyes; brow drawn to a knit point. Her weight shifts a little more, points the trunk of her body away from Xantia and the Seraph she's apologising to. A hand comes up, crosses the breastplate of her chest to grasp at the silk trim of her other arm.

'Confusion' isn't quite the right word, but all a sudden she's not saying what the right word is, because she's saying nothing at all.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Clarine has posed.

"Yes absolutely! Humans enjoy idioms such as those. It allows them and their audience to feel clever by likening one occurrence - such as getting something correct - to a different, unrelated occurrence - such as accurately hitting a nail with a hammer. This shared understanding also helps bring people together through the comparison of familiar experiences." Clarine confirms, her arms folded in front of her and nodding sagely.

But, indeed - she already has somewhat of an idea why Xantia would bring up the shrine specifically. She smiles a little as Xantia mentions thinking she'd like it there, and her expression softens as Xantia continues.

"...It is alright, Xantia. You, and... that man - you are different. Your actions came about purely out of a desire to protect me. That you express this level of concern... it is proof of how much you care." Clarine replies, trying to reassure her. "I do not believe you would steal my will away, as that man would."

<Pose Tracker> Xantia has posed.

Well dang, Clarine really knows her stuff! Xantia's eyes grow wide with that added explanation for people's motivations in doing a thing that is honestly pretty weird. Who knew that was what it was for all this time? But, that pretty much is what just happened with Boudicca, even though they both barely knew what was happening the whole time, so it makes total sense. She can't not grin about having gotten something that important right on the first try. Even if it took her literally years to become confident enough to try it at all.

Those good vibes kind of get overruled by the heavier topic, though she's quick to pull herself back together after Clarine's reassurance. Her smile starts out small, but gradually grows as she responds. "Well... I'm glad you understand what I was trying to do, but you know... I'll try to be more careful." She chuckles. "...Even if it was kinda cool." 'Cool' is one of those rare figurative expressions that she can consistently use correctly now, so naturally she uses it often.

Glancing to Boudicca, Xantia's eyebrows raise as she's not quite sure what's going on with the other Seraph. But 'confusion' is the best guess she has, so she quickly moves to clarify what she was talking about. "Oh, you probably wouldn't know... we were on this train, and it was attacked, and I couldn't get out of the way of this big attack, but then Clarine got in front of me, and she exploded into little light bits, and I thought she was gone, and I didn't want that, so I did... something, and it drew her light into me and then we were kinda sorta one person, just about, for a little bit?"

That was one big stream of consciousness. It took that long for her to take a breath, and continues to clarify, "It wasn't exactly like a possession thing, we tried that too before but it was different." And in the same breath, she brings up something else entirely, which for all she knows is something similar. "Is that how it went with Moor Gault? You just... fused together, or something? I don't know how this Oracle stuff works. That's what you are, right, an Oracle?" She knows that much at least, from Lanval.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Boudicca has posed.

What is the measure of a mistake?

How much can be taken without intent?

Even with pure hearts, is it possible...

Neither Xantia nor Clarine are at fault, really, for the doubts which rear up behind Boudicca's eyes; these are old things, left by the elder. To say that 'humans are good' - this has always been a statement of opposition. And how much does she know, and how much is left to the confusion of eyes which do not seem to function properly--?

She doesn't know. She hasn't asked.

Xantia, in all her innocence, broached a subject Boudicca has been speaking around since it happened. She is older, now, and better set in her ways; she does not flee the field on the introduction of this discomfort. But in her ways still she retreats, turns away and turns inward, standing silent.

They're different, Clarine says. Her intent matters. She would not have taken her will away, all by accident.

        It couldn't be an accident.

But Xantia sounded so scared... that it could have been.

She turns her head, at least, to listen to Xantia's explanation. Words like water tumble through her stream of consciousness, and Boudicca's frown deepens. "Ah," she says, old as the oak, "ben sheued thine innocentrie." She has shown plain her innocence, Boudicca says; and she shows something, too, in the words she chooses to describe it.

Lunar has not spoken like that for some time.

Boudicca shakes her head as she turns back to Xantia; her braids shake around her, long to her legs. "I am, yes. But this is not the nature of my pact," she corrects her, with more a mind to modern comprehension. "My air is fuel to Moor Gault's fire, flame used by mine Oracles to purge Malevolence. I serve as... a spiritual connector," her hand releases her arm to gesture, open-palmed, "a bridge, perhaps. But we are not one being, no. I am not large enough to contain the multitudes of a Guardian, Xantia. Rather, we both possess the same desire: to safeguard the peoples of Filgaia."

It's a humourless explanation, but she's talking, at least.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Clarine has posed.

"That... is good." Clarine says, of being careful. Cool... well, it certainly was, even if it was a bit of a shock at first. She goes quiet then, allowing Xantia to explain to Boudicca what happened. Clarine focuses on Boudicca's reaction during all this. She notes the way she retreats.

...Was it just because the subject matter was troubling? Or is there something more to it? ...Clarine can't tell. She notes, though, the way Boudicca responds.

And then, the subject continues on to the matter of Oracles. Clarine listens with interest.

"...Ah. So that is how it feels..." Clarine murmurs, briefly resting a hand over where her heart would be, if she had one. "...I have often wondered what it was like, truthfully."

<Pose Tracker> Xantia has posed.

If Xantia didn't know what was going on with Boudicca before, she certainly would be lost when such unfamiliar words are spoken to her. Was that some kind of different language? She doesn't respond to them, only blinking blankly. It's easy enough to tell that something changed, but what could it be? What could cause someone's nature to change so drastically?

Given her own mental preoccupations, her mind can only conceive of one answer, and it just so happens to be the right one. Memory can change the nature of a person. She's only got a few years of them now, and she's already so different from how she was back when she had none. She can't fathom how different her thought patterns might be if she had all of her memories back. Let alone however many memories a given Seraph might have.

She thus reaches somewhat of an understanding, in as far as she's capable, and her expression changes as a result, turning serious. Whatever this may be that Boudicca has memories of, she'll treat it with the gravitas it's doubtlessly due. She does her best to follow the explanation too, in spite of the more complicated phrasing. She manages it well enough.

"...I see. So you made a deal, working together to do whatever you can to save the planet and its people." She smiles, then. "That sounds nice." She can't express herself in quite the same way, but it's sincere enough.

When Clarine shows interest, Xantia is quick to offer encouragement. "You want to be an Oracle too, Clarine? You totally should! I don't really know how you could talk with Stare Roe from here, but I know you could come to some kind of agreement. I mean, you know Guardians, they can talk kinda harsh, but they're not unfair."

Xantia is sure talking like she knows Guardians. No questions about that necessary, she keeps going on about it on her own, confirming, "I met with Stare Roe once. It was in the Guardian Temple. If you're wondering what it was like-- well hang on."

She closes her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. She may have comparatively few memories, but what she does have, she can recall perfectly. When she opens her eyes, she has a more stern expression, more befitting of the words she's about to speak, and the tone she speaks them in.

"Walkers of this dying world - you stand in the light of judgment. The hope we placed in you has failed us before. What makes you different? The path here was laid down by humans who sought to test those who would stand before us. It is foolish to expect those who abide with such a limited span to understand the endless stream of history. And yet, some of them try. Can we dismiss good intentions offered sincerely? We stand on the precipice. And so we ask of you mortals - you may not respect us. But the end approaches swiftly - a terrible fate unavoidable by any who stand upon this world. To oppose that fate, we would offer you a fragment of our power."

And just like that, the stern mask fades, and the solemn tone of voice returns to Xantia's usual upbeat one. "...Something like that! So you know, sounds reasonable to me, why not give it a try?" She looks to Boudicca for support. "You think so too, right?"

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Boudicca has posed.

"'Tis a strange feeling," Boudicca admits, to Clarine. "This union... it is something entirely new." The Guardians and the Seraphim didn't have much occasion to cross paths, until recently. ... right?

Well, never mind THAT thought. It's older than Boudicca is, that's for sure. Marivel would know - but Boudicca isn't so eager to dig up the truth.

She at least manages to return Xantia's smile, as she confirms: "It is nice." Moor Gault might not be much of a conversationalist, but they share the desire to cleanse horror from Filgaia. That is a valuable thing!

Stare Roe is only distantly known to Boudicca, and so she listens to Xantia's wisdom. The way she focuses... "Did you remember that entire speech?" Boudicca asks, afterwards, and despite her gloom, she can't help but be terribly impressed.

She bows her head in a deep nod, turning her consideration to her fellow Seraph. "I know not how one would treat with the Guardians in times of peace, but... were it something you wished to aspire to, I am sure you would find a way, Clarine. Though... to seek Filgaia's future is to not entirely be a creature of Lunar, as we have always known. Do remember that." It's something of a cryptic warning, but Boudicca isn't entirely sure what how far those implications reach.

She doesn't know what Althena would say, about the choices she and Lanval have made.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Clarine has posed.

"Ah... to be truthful, I have not yet had the opportunity to speak directly with one of them..." Clarine admits. "...To become an Oracle... I do not know if it is my immediate desire, but... it would be a lie if I said I had not considered it."

She had given thought to other ways in which she could assist the mortals she had grown attached to.

And then she listens as Xantia recounts the words of Stare Roe. She seems a little surprised and impressed that Xantia can recall it so perfectly.

"That is quite impressive...!" Clarine comments. She looks toward Boudicca, then, as she offers a warning. She nods.

"...I understand." She says, and thinks on that for a moment. She finds herself looking up - not at Xantia, but instead more to the faint outline of the Silver Star in the sky, staring quietly and wondering.

"...I have... stood in opposition to Her will, stood against her followers. I do not agree with Her decisions, but... it is still not a connection I wish to completely sever..." She admits.

<Pose Tracker> Xantia has posed.

The most surprising thing about Boudicca and Clarine's reactions, in Xantia's estimation, is that they both appear to be impressed by her memory. She might be able to appreciate the irony of an amnesiac having a good memory one day, if she can ever figure out what irony is exactly. But as things stand right now... all she can do is give an immediate response to Boudicca's question on if she had the speech memorized.

"Of course I did, I remember everything anybody's ever said to me!"

She says it cheerfully, like it's no big deal. More accurately, she thinks it's the only thing that makes sense. With a fainter smile and softer tone, she adds the motivation behind it. "Memories are too important. Every memory is precious to me. Back when I first started on my journey to recover my lost memories, I vowed to never forget anything ever again. I don't intend to go back on my word." Which... doesn't really explain how she manages to follow through to that degree, but it's not like she's ever questioned it. With her general can-do attitude, she may simply think it's something anybody can do when they really try.

"I remember how I responded too, when I was asked what makes me different from those who came before me." She even emotes the same way she did back then, frowning a bit and looking pensive. "I don't think there's any way I can answer that. I barely know anything about myself, let alone the whole world. I have no idea how different I am. But... I don't think that's something I should judge myself, anyway. I'm just going to do what I think is right. Others can decide how different that makes me. But, I do know one thing..." Raising her voice, and making a fist, she declares with a confident smile, "It's impossible to fail, as long as you don't give up!"

She casually drops the arm she just raised back down, keeping that smile going. "Nothing's changed there, I stand by every word. That goes for everyone, so if you decide it's what you want, Clarine, I'm sure it'll work out! And hey, if you need a Seer, you know I'll help you in any way I can."

Of course, she hadn't considered the more complicated matters behind it all. She rubs the back of her head awkwardly, unsure if this means that she should apologize for casually suggesting things like that. That would be weird, when in this, too, she stands behind everything she said. So she decides against it, quietly listening to Clarine's response to Boudicca's assertions. And after hearing them...

"I, um. I kind of encouraged her to do that, too," she admits sheepishly to Boudicca, before turning back to Clarine. "Was that a bad thing? I mean, it was still your decision of course, but you know... you seem kind of sad about it now. I'm sorry if I'm, you know... pushy. I want to support the people I care about, but I, uh... don't always completely know what I'm talking about."

She does realize that, she just doesn't let it stop her, even at the times when she probably should.

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Boudicca has posed.

"I - do not know that mine is severed," Boudicca says, in uncertainty. "But... it is true I have changed. I am not as Althena made me. Times past, the possibility of her rejection would have frightened me terribly..." her head tilts, glancing aside. "... though... I should find it a terrible unfairness to be condemned. I acted to defend humanity, and in doing so, the Malevolence... had Moor Gault not interfered... I shudder to think." She speaks in implications, and does not explain; perhaps she wishes to spare Xantia the knowledge.

She has faith Clarine will know - just what Moor Gault did for her, back then.

        She would save humanity.

        But first, she was saved.

She turns to Xantia now, though, and smiles. "To be yourself is the most honest action any being can aspire to. If inscribing those memories helps you to feel more 'yourself' - then it is a worthy act." Boudicca does not know the pain of losing the past; but she has seen it enough not to judge the ways by which Xantia seems, to her, to cope with it. More gently, she adds: "... it is not bad to encourage your friends. You do not seem the sort not to accept someone else's conclusion; I shall not rebuke you for offering your support."

She adds, lightly: "I often speak without full knowledge of the situation, myself."

... she says it to reassure Xantia, but it's not a lie, either.

Boudicca pauses, a hand rising to her chin, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. "Though, I must ask..." That hand gestures, out, to Xantia. "... have you crossed paths with Dean Stark, by any chance? 'It's impossible to fail, as long as you don't give up'... well, it sounds like something my honoured Seer would say, you see."

<Pose Tracker> Seraph Clarine has posed.

"I do not think any could condemn you. You did what was best for you - for all who live." Clarine replies with a shake of her head, trying to reassure Boudicca.

She looks toward Xantia, then, as she recounts her vow to never forget, and her response to Stare Roe.

"...That is... a good answer, I think." Clarine replies with an approving smile. She nods, then. "...Thank you. I shall keep that in mind."

As for whether it was a bad thing or not, to encourage her to stand against Althena, Clarine shakes her head.

"...No. Ultimately... with your encouragement, I was able to choose the path I believed in most. It hurt, yes, and I feel sad that it was necessary... but I do not think I chose incorrectly." Clarine explains, and offers her a smile. "So... I must thank you. Please, do not feel sad for me."

She nods, too, at Boudicca's own encouragement for Xantia.

"Yes, it is as she says." Clarine agrees.

<Pose Tracker> Xantia has posed.

Though Xantia's feelings are usually clearly written on her face, at times it can be hard to tell whether she's completely understood what's being said. This is one of those times, where she's mostly expressionless when she learns how exactly the pact with Moor Gault happened. Either she's trying and failing to work out the meaning behind those words, or she's understood it just fine, but is unsure how to feel about that. Either way, this is definitely one of those things where she wouldn't completely know what she's talking about even if she tried to say something; this time she's decided not to.

Then of course, there's the fact that what she needed first and foremost right now was reassurance that all that talking she constantly does didn't do more harm than good. Thankfully that's what she receives, from both Seraphs, which quickly brings a smile back to her face.

"Phew, okay, that's a relief! I just, I can't really tell these things, you know? Encouraging people is kind of what I do all the time. I don't really think about it, I just do it." Perhaps the same could be said of all of Xantia's actions. But at least she doesn't have to wonder about this particular instance anymore, since Clarine thanks her for it. "Then, I'm glad I could help!"

She chuckles at Boudicca's admission, relating her findings in that area. "I used to think that was just me, because of my memory loss. Turns out, loads of people have no idea what they're doing a lot of the time!" This is meant to be reassuring. It certainly is to her.

The look she next gives Boudicca is an overt 'how do you know I know that person' look, but this is quickly explained without her needing to ask. "Yeah, I do know Dean! We think alike in a lot of ways, I didn't actually know I said the same sort of thing he likes to say until the last time we ran into each other. What a coincidence, huh?" It takes her a moment's pause before the last piece falls into place. "...Wait, he's a Seer? He didn't tell me about that!" She frowns for a moment, before concluding with a shrug, "I guess it just never came up. How would it have?"

And so, since Dean came up, and she was praised for her memory... it only makes sense to do an imitation of Dean, from their last meeting. With that, she makes a fist, and enthusiastically stretches her arm forward, in clear request of a fistbump from the Seraphs, as she quotes: "Well then! Here's to doing our best, all the time!"

There really is shockingly little difference from her normal self, so who knows how obvious it'll be that she's imitating someone else here.
