Lemina Ausa is the Junior Premier of the Magic Guild of Vane, an ancient seat of learning that flew through the skies more than a thousand years ago. In the centuries since, however, Vane has fallen into disrepair and disrepute, with only a handful of teachers and students among their ranks. Lemina is determined to restore Vane to its former glory, and began traveling with Hiro hoping to recruit him into the Guild's ranks. Though her personality may seem grating at times, she has proven to be both a loyal friend and a powerful magician.
Background
Powers and Abilities
Lemina is a rare spellcaster who can use Althena's Blessing to harness three elements. She currently uses fire, ice, and light, and while she does not have enough of a grasp on the other elements to use them on their own, has begun to conceive a spell that would use all of them simultaneously.

Discoveries
Ruins of Memory
Ancient Tomes: Some of the rooms on the deepest levels of the Ruins of Memory are libraries. This room is stacked to the ceiling with shelves. While many of the books have crumbled to dust, several are yet salvageable. The contents, at a glance, are novels and comedies from the Metal Demon Wars era - on social issues, rather than history, but they may well find a home with a serious scholar.
Broken ARMs: The cache you discover has broken and shattered pieces of ARMs in them. While some are nothing more than scrap, others have parts with complex moving pieces - and their design suggests they come from the Metal Demon Wars. While they are not of much use, they could fetch a pretty gella.
Sacred Grounds of Linga
Totally Normal Gella: Inside the chest was... Gella. Because cold, hard cash never goes out of style.
Sult Ruins
A Mysterious Statue: The depths of the ruins hide unusual treasures, but nothing is as strange as the -quite inanimate- stone statue. It isn't very large, only two feet in height, but appears to be intricately carved and cast in the likeness of a young woman with long hair, unusual ears whose true nature has been obscured by damage and the passage of time, and an unusual robe that appears to be dissimilar to the typical style of the Baskar. While unusual, it is a cultural artifact and will fetch a modest reward at the Adventurers' Guild or the Ethos.
Lacour Coliseum

In honour of their triumph in this exhibition match, they will each receive a special prize commemorating their victory: A PURPLE PARTICIPATION RIBBON! Thanks for coming out to this Exhibition Team Fighting match here at the Lacour Tournament of Arms: Presented by Blastemol!®"
Temple of Rejection
The Forgotten: The room you come upon as the security systems of the temple temporarily recede appears, by all accounts, to be a room for discarded or incomplete projects. So many half-done devices dot this place, none of them functional in any way and many eroded by age, yet all of them from a time far in advance of the modern era -- perhaps dating even as far back as Zeboim. There are many different treasures to be found here, including a pile of strange white metal discs that look like copies of artificial Mediums, for those who could tell such things. But just what are they doing here, and why would this temple be in possession of such strange tools...? The only clue comes in the form of a stone plaque at the back of the room, written in an ancient language that nonetheless seems wholly legible to anyone, regardless of native tongue:
This facility was created to funnel life energy into Filgaia. It will undoubtedly take thousands of years for the biosphere to return to its former state. But we nonetheless leave this facility to our descendants, so that they may one day enjoy a lush Filgaia once more...
If our experiments here succeed, we plan to establish two additional facilities with the same capabilities. We cannot afford to fail. And we must act quickly -- before THE LOLITHIA learns of us...
November City Plant
Copious Comestibles: This crate is full of food! Delicious fruits and vegtables, mostly, as fresh as though it was picked straight off the vine. You could keep this for yourself OR sell it to a greengrocer's... though for the latter, you'll have to move fast.
Nortune Sewers
Dead Drop: Several bricks near a ladder poke out at strange angles, and if pushed, reveal a small opening in the wall. Inside is a strongbox, small enough to be carried out, and even smuggled into Kislev. What is it doing here? What's inside?
Doomed to Obscurity
Intriguing Specimens: The sandworms have brought a strange, subterranean ecosystem into the ruin, including rare fungi with sorcerous or medicinal properties. You've found a large colony of them growing in the detritus the sandworms left behind, and the right buyer would be willing to pay quite a bit to take them off your hands.
Cage Tower
Beastly Studies: Tucked away in a locker is a packet of paper held together by the rusted remains of metal rings. Though yellowed and wrinkled with age, the writing and diagrams are still clearly-legible, and describe the anatomy of multiple kinds of Metal Beast in exacting detail. An original source from the Metal Demon Wars? It could be worth a lot.
