Though he hasn't been seen for hundreds of years, Seraph Yvain is an old hat at adventure in Lunar. He's crossed Meribus and Glenwood and the seas between, seeing all sorts of people--and all sorts of monsters. Once, he watched over humans and helped to maintain Althena's Boundary, but that was long ago. He has since been wandering for a long time seeking... Something. Exactly what he's looking for is elusive. Newly returned to the world, he is confused by many of the changes--particularly those among Althena's Chosen--but willing to explore the present for himself. Despite his religious background, he has not immediately taken up with Althena's Guard. Instead, he wanders again, planning to judge his place in this new world for himself. As a Fire Seraph, he has an instinctive and long-honed expertise with fiery magic, and he brings back an ancient form of spear fighting that has since branched into modern styles, making use of a trident--a weapon opposite his own elemental affinity, to help him find a strength that he didn't have when it once counted.
