Zenith is a mischievous Water Seraph who is endlessly fascinated with mortals, but rarely concerned with their best interests. He's currently partner-in-crime to the hotheaded Chloe Velasquez, who he sprang from jail and now joins in various acts of theft, deception, and outright robbery. It is unclear what his exact motivations for doing so might be, aside from enabling her particular brand of chaos.
Background
Zenith is about 750 years old, and was originally human. His human life ended when a ship went down far out at sea, leaving him, reborn as a Seraph, with little idea of his identity and surrounded by the vastness of the ocean with no clear way to return to civilization on his own power. He spent half a century lost in his own element before fortune brought him back to the shore. He came out of the experience... a bit strange, with a sharp hunger for life experiences both good and bad, provided they gave the opportunity to feel something.
Powers and Abilities
Zenith is a Water Seraph with a particular affinity for the sea since his prolonged merge with it. This gives an oceanic flair to his elemental attacks, which may take the form of crashing waves or come with evocations of fish and other sea creatures. Additionally, he has a set of magical chakrams, artifacts he liberated from a wealthy collector who had enough Resonance to hear but not see him, inspiring Zen to pose as a vengeful ghost who could only be appeased by the return of his lost treasure. These are large, circular disks with bladed edges that can fly under his command.
