A mysterious figure in the court of Rolance, Sister Domitia appeared early in the spring season. The rumours about her run hot, the most potent being that this Priestess first appeared to a band of outnumbered imperial soldiers pinned down in a ruined tower somewhere on the front lines of the war. It's said the mysterious Priestess uttered a litany to Althena and aided the wounded Rolance soldiers in defeating the enemy - it's said she even wielded an incredibly powerful litany that smote the sinners among the enemy soldiers' ranks. Beyond that, nobody seems to know where the Priestess came from - only that she's rumoured to experience visions, and to have powerful litanies at her disposal. Even a glimpse of her face is rare, given that she's often hooded.
Sister Domitia was ultimately revealed as Neriah Parringer, and her presence was part of a grand bid to seize control of Rolance and subvert the kingdom in the name of the dark god Valmar.
Powers and Abilities
- Abjuration Litanies: Sister Domitia appears to be much more martial than most Priestesses of Althena, capable of wielding powerful litanies which are used mainly for offense. She's been observed dissolving Hellions and objects to ash with just a touch and calling down a rain of obliterating energy to savage entire ruins full of monsters. Her litanies are unusual for a priestess, certainly - and the limit of her power is unclear.
- Chameleon Cloak: Sister Domitia's overcloak is made of some colour-shifting material that allows her to blend into the scenery when the time comes to utilize it. Using the cloak, she can emerge from the darkness and attack from an unexpected direction.
