A Very Particular Set of Skills

  • ARMs Duelist: He carries a pair, one on each hip, and they do several different things, none of them very nice. He claims that most of the people who've seen them in use are dead -- a convenient story, if a man were setting out to build a legend around himself. It is verifiably true, though, that he isn't quick to draw them.
  • Well-Educated: In spite of his penchant for causing a ruckus wherever he goes and a palate that appreciates the taste of mischief and mayhem, Noah is a veritable font of information, most notably in the areas of history and culture. In the right company and for the right reasons, he can expound at length about even the most esoteric of subjects, shockingly academic when the mood strikes. Related to this...
  • Relic-Savvy: ...he has a remarkable, extensive knowledge of ancient artifacts, relics, and ARMs, as one might expect from a man who makes a living by trading on that very same quality. He has no interest in setting up shop or embracing anything even remotely like a respectable job, but if he ever abandoned his reckless lifestyle he could probably make a fine living doing appraisals and fencing other people's finds. There are few complex machines he's incapable of fixing, given the proper resources and enough time.
  • Well-Traveled: He seems to have been everywhere worth visiting and most places that aren't, and brought back with him stories enough to keep him in free drinks at saloons the world over.
  • Polyglot: Languages. Lots of them. All of them, very possibly. His own accent is difficult to place, less the product of one region than a hybrid of countless places, his speech indelibly stained by what has presumably been a lifetime of travel.
  • Sleight-of-Hand: Mandatory know-how for any scoundrel worth their salt.
  • Horsemanship: Life on the road requires a good horse if a man wants to avoid sore feet. Noah's developed a hell of a seat for the saddle, and he's as comfortable in combat from the back of a horse as he is on his own two feet.
  • Bottomless Charisma: He's got a silver tongue and the tendency to lay the charm on thick. Some love it, some loathe it, but nobody can deny that he's got buckets of whatever it is.
  • Adrenaline Junkie: Any moment spent doing anything other than squeezing every last drop of excitement out of the life he's living is one he considers wasted.
  • Womanizing: He does it. A lot. He tends not to stick around after the fact.
  • Friends in Low Places: Well...not all of them are in low places, to be fair, but Noah knows people -- lots of people. He's been places, seen and done things. Some of the faces he's run into have been worth keeping around, even to a man with a deep-seated dislike of commitment.
