"Welcome home!!"
Background
The Orphans live in Wayside Orphanage in the village of Wayside, and were found by Riesenlied on a number of excursions around the desert -- they're largely children that have been orphaned by the conflicts of Aveh and Kislev, whether because they lost their parents when their caravan was attacked, or due to a number of other reasons. There's 12 children of varying ages, demographics and personalities in the Orphanage! Get along well with each other, everyone!
Things of Note
- They have a soccer team, the Wayside Wayfarers, courtesy of Asteroid the Kid.
- Val, the bartender of V4L-H4LLA, likes sneaking them treats and looks after them when Riese isn't around.
Specific Children
Mikaia
Mikaia is a shy, introverted child that is nonetheless particularly precocious in her studies. She's quick to open up to people she 'feels' are friendly, however, once she gets to know them! She's a Beastman of some kind, possessing tiny black winglets behind her, but she doesn't know where she came from or what tribe she's a part of. She's 5 years old.
Janey
Janey has a wild mischievious streak the size of her grin, and loves to get into trouble. She's always pretending she's a Digger, going on adventures to find treasure! She's 8 years old.
