| PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Site was recently rediscovered by Lambs; based on intelligence identifying it as a Guardianist site and on the directions of Major Sadalbari, I ventured to the Billion Blade Barrow to investigate further. |
| EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Encountered other individuals shortly after arrival. Of note: Jacqueline Barber (of the Caravan Kinship) knows my true identity; Lunata as of yet does not. Caution is advised in any future interactions with the pair of them. I do not believe Barber will keep silent on the matter long. The third woman is unknown: she identified herself as 'Ally' and was dressed in an outfit of the like I have not seen before. She seems to be in possession of an advanced ARM but I could not get confirmation of this.
The site itself was largely unremarkable in terms of obstacles and traps observed, with the exceptions of an unexpected ancient construct in the form of a blade-mouthed big cat and animate bas reliefs. In the depths of the barrow we were pitted against an enormous shadow that pursued us until the candlelight in the room flickered out. It appeared to be a test of some sort. I located no relics, but the movement of shadows across the wall after we passed the trial appeared to suggest some potential armed martial forms |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Further investigation of the site is, as always, recommended; there may be more information to gain about certain Guardianist beliefs and functions. Furthermore, I recommend investigation into 'Ally' in the event she represents a potential risk factor, particularly under current field conditions in Aquvy. |
