Jack-of-all-Trades. Adventurer. Opportunist. Degenerate. Rapscallion. All these things and more describe Jude Moshe, professional louse. A wandering journalist hailing all the way from Guild Galad in Aquvy, Jude is constantly in search of the next, great scoop to write on, chronicling the events of Filgaia as he finds them. Of course, all the journalistic integrity in the world won't pay the bills, and so Jude also works as something of a freelance mercenary, taking most any job for the right price -- because hired gun integrity also won't pay the bills. Laid back yet cynical, Jude is always accompanied by his strange, symbology rune-laden revolver shotgun and equally strange mechanical messenger bird. He smokes. He drinks. He has a self-centered streak a mile long. But at least he's friendly about it. Right?

Powers and Abilities

Something of a jack-of-all-trades, Jude has a wide skill set in his occupation as a simple country journalist, and has traveled far and often enough that he has a good grasp of the cultures and geographies of many different regions on Filgaia as well as a sometimes surprising degree of information on current events. Included in his journalistic wheelhouse is:

  • Investigative Journalism - Jude is a journalist for a periodical based out of Guild Galad known as the Guild Gazette that enjoys a decent following even in Ignas. Thanks to this, Jude's very good at figuring out things people don't want to be figured out. He is skilled at all the information gathering techniques that one might expect from a reporter too nosy for their own good.
  • Symbology - Jude seems to be an accomplished symbologist; most of his runes, however, are applied to his ARM and the ammunition he uses in concert with it, rather than being tattoo'd on him. He doesn't seem to specialize in any particular element, instead dabbling in what seems worthwhile at the time.
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat - As every good journalist knows, eventually someone's going to want to punch you in the face; Jude is an adept martial artist, though his skill seems more of a hodgepodge of various techniques rather than committing to any one particular method.
  • Marksmanship - As every really good journalist knows, eventually someone's going to want to shoot you in the face; even one as pretty as Jude's. Jude is an exceptional gunfighter, skilled with a variety of ARMs and quickly able to adapt to new ones. Currently, he fancies shotguns.
  • ARMs Meister - Nothing's worse than a jammed gun in the middle of a crisis. And Jude is often in a crisis. Moshe is a surprisingly skilled mechanic and ARMs meister, and does most of the modifications on his own weapons himself. He's fairly good at grasping and adapting to new technology in relatively quick order, at that.
  • Navigating - Well-informed about the geography of Ignas and beyond, Jude also has a very good sense of direction when he's not drunk. So he's got a good sense of direction about 50% of the time.
  • Subterfuge - No journalist worth his salt leaves home without it.
  • Information Warfare - It's a dog-eat-dog world for journalists out there.
  • Debt Accrual - No one does it better than Jude.
  • Theft - He likes to consider it 'indefinite borrowing.'
  • Tracking - To hunt down the next big scoop, and / or bounty.
  • Drinking - The hallmark of any good writer.

Left Cassidy Cain - Can't afford to let her go.

Leon Albus - Good kid. Interesting ARM. A little too earnest for his own good. Has some strange opinions on fashion.

Lily Keil - Smart kid. Has a better head on her shoulders than her boyfriend. There's something unusual about her, though...

Josephine Lovelace - Birds of a feather. Don't think she's given her whole story, but who has? Still owe her a smoke.

Morgan Newkirk - Strange ARM. Strange lingo. Sly as a fox. Not apologizing for that.

Noah Hawthorne - Knows his stuff. Maybe a little too invested.

Kahm Yugh - 'Marcus Rider.' Wonder how he hasn't got a fatal ulcer at this point in his life.
