Once a promising Etone disciple, the feline beastwoman Rosaline Calice has found herself consumed by Malevolence. She was once seeking vengeance over the destruction of her home, but finding it was only the start of her living nightmare. Having taken the Hellion form of a nekomata, Rosaline now stalks the night on a one-woman crusade to cleanse the world of perceived sinners. Her methods are brutal and expedient, aided by feral strength and a powerful ARM called Mother's Mercy. Most potent, however, is the Malevolent sorcery she was endowed with, taking the form of advanced pyromancy and, most alarming, what appears to be a form of necromancy. Rosaline retains some of the kindness she once had but, now more than ever, her temper can flare up with disconcerting ease and disasterous results. Beware to any who get in her way-- Even those she once called friends.

Powers and Abilities

Mother's Mercy: A shotgun once used by the staff of the Saint Calice Orphanage to protect it from Wels, among several things. It was warped by Malevolence into a truly terrible weapon, capable of firing magically-enhanced explosive pellets. It isn't entirely clear how much of its absurd stopping power is evil magic and which is just evil technology. It has an eyeball where a scope would be, too!

Malevolent Sorcery: Rosaline's main power as a Hellion manifests as incredibly potent pyromancy, in other words the ability to conjure, direct and shape flame. She can also call upon the spirits of the dead and animate corpses using red, glowing strings of Malevolent power conjured from her claws and tails.

Beastman Senses: Rosaline's mundane and spiritual senses are very sharp, and as a Hellion even moreso. The nature of her new powers also means she has a particular affinity with the dead.

Presence Concealment: Cats are already very sneaky as a matter of fact. When nekomata magic gets involved, things get downright stupid. Rosaline is in general very good at going unnoticed by all of one's senses, so long as she makes an effort to hide herself.

Apex Predator: As if it wasn't enough that she has an explosion gun and can set people on fire by being angry at them, Rosaline's physical attributes have been mutated to emphasize and enhance her bestial aspects. It's extremely impractical for day-to-day existence, but having inches-long claws that can tear through most things is very useful for vengeance murders.

Berserker Risk: Less a risk now and more a fact of life. Rosaline is just visibly angry most of the time now, though to her credit she hasn't completely turned into a tunnel-visioning, sputtering murderbeast yet since her transformation.

Dungeon Tools:

Corpse Strings: As described above, Rosaline can take control of dead bodies using her sorcerous abilities. She uses this to turn the tide in combat or at least present a distraction, pitting her enemies against their former allies.

Sinner's Prayer: Strips of paper Rosaline can conjure up to orbit around allies and temporarily grant them terrible strength. They bear inscriptions that appear at a glance to include various profanities, but tend to move too quickly for one to pay close attention to.

Spirit Bells: In actuality a Sealing Rod, but warped by Malevolence into an instrument Rosaline can use to call upon lingering spirits for advice on a particularly puzzling situation.
