A researcher into Pokemon habitats, Edgar Chiba comes from Cinnabar Island. He's friendly and personable, but not always very reliable. His charm is sufficient that that doesn't slow him down much. He worked with Professor Maple of Fuchsia City before she retired, and of late has been doing very interesting work with Pokemon habitat research in Armlock City--particularly as regards the possibility of Pokemon's thriving in envrionments outside Energy Nede. He cares mostly for his research, his personal friends, and his family; his daughter Sable Aomori is his top priority, but she's on a Journey at the moment. His relationship with Sable's mother Anne is another high priority... but is complicated by her status as a member of Team Rocket, which he's willing to live with for now, but might be a problem for Sable later. His original partner is now a Braixen.
