A Songstress of Granas, Elena has lived most of her life in a Granas covenant. Tutored in the use of magic through songs and hymns to Granas, she was a promising novice, but not especially noteworthy. Thus it came as a considerable surprise when she was chosen to conduct an important ceremony of exorcism meant to banish a piece of the Dark God Valmar from the world. Innocent and friendly, Elena tends to view the world through the lens of her upbringing in the Church of Granas. This at times leads her to grow upset or distraught at those with a more worldly upbringing or cynical nature, which can cause her temper to get the better of her, as well as have unreasonable expectations of people.
