| PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | I joined a party entering the "Lolithia Tomb" ruin site in order to see if the excavations and recent tremors had revealed any new materials other than the known presence of the ancient "Golem" weapon. This expedition was organized by CYRE LORENTZ, a demihuman with impulse control challenges. He was joined by NEWKIRK, an individual of uncertain provenance called ETHIUS HESIOD, and some form of spiritual entity who I was able to perceive who made use of air-mode manifestations (lightning/electrical type). |
| EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Several complicated security measures were defeated through group action, including a dial-based system which was susceptible to the Wadlmeier stack crash common to color-based logical equations. At the conclusion of the expedition was a large piece of machinery, badly corroded, which I have documented in Appendix A, as well as a vertical lift system which appeared to provide ready access to a previously unsuspected surface point.
A large hostile organism coded "MAGTORTUS" was sighted and fended off with focused Symbology and gunfire. This creature appeared to be electrovorous and may have migrated in the area to feed off of the tomb complex's as-yet-undiscovered electrical power source. Given our repeated contacts with NEWKIRK it may become difficult to conceal our activities completely, especially if he is a Kislevi agent. He seemed interested in instructing me further in the use of their primitive ARMs (I had procured a revolver-type gun as a substitute for my standard sidearm) but I am uncertain on how to continue. HESIOD also behaved erratically but with some indications of concealment or deliberate obscurantism. Have there been other contacts? Intuition suggests some other sponsoring agency or group but I have no concrete evidence to support this... |
