"Tonight, too, carries a crisp, cold promise... yes, how it sings to me..."

Background

Caoimhe ni Maoilgrahna was a Hero. Yes, she was a Hero, in every sense of the word. A young girl from a devout Granasian family of little repute, Caoimhe's reputation was bolstered overnight when she discovered a Holy Sword that chose her and defended Eluria against monstrous threats during its time of desperate need. From there, her storied career of becoming a Paladin and leading a group of Drifters -- the Whitesky Company -- to defend Eluria against the threat of the Veruni, the Metal Demons and the unnatural disasters that wracked Elru propelled her to mythical status... and then the Sorcery Globe struck. Whatever became of the Hero and her allies? What happens when a Hero's due is not met? All this is shrouded in mystery, along with the rest of Eluria's swift road to ruin, but those who travel Elru say that sometimes, a mysterious figure, as much beast as it is knight, prowls the Elurian wastelands in search of bandits and monsters. A Holy Sword must vanquish Evil, after all...

Powers and Abilities

  • The Holy Sword - As it turns out, JRPG endgame holy swords have gonzo attack power.
  • Physical Prowess - Caoimhe has enormous physical strength and endurance, though her agility is limited to short, predictable bursts.
  • Heightened Senses - Olfactory - Caoimhe has an incredibly refined sense of smelling, and it is her primary form of identification in lieu of her seeing.
  • Heightened Senses - Auditory - Along with her sense of smell, her sense of hearing is also heightened, but to a lesser extent.
  • Memories - Caoimhe holds items that she calls 'Memories', which belong to her departed companions. They are often tools of their trade, and she has practiced extensively with them.
