A wandering shade, Solanine has spent the majority of her centuries long life in hermitage, haunting a decrepit manse in a town that itself decayed to nothing. Her home now lost, she wanders the worlds in search of something of interest, whether an adventuring task to give her life temporary purpose, or a ruin to explore, perhaps to find something else unseen by the world for centuries. Thoroughly used to being invisible among those without Resonance, encountering Drifters and others who know she's there has been a re-learning experience. A fascination with knighthood in her youth drove her to hone skills in both dueling and wartime swordsmanship, however the importance of knightly honor did not weather as well in her heart the passing lifetimes of man. Wielding the element of Shadow as a (often literal) projection of her self, she instead complements that swordplay with blooming miasma, mirage and the sudden looming power that waits in the dark.
