SITE REPORT
SOLARIAN SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND (SOLSOC)
Prepared by Loren Voss
Authorized for release to Gebler Special Exploratory Group (SEG)
(Clearance-confirmed contractors included)

SCENE LOG: Shooting Stars
LOCATION: Withertallow Keep (Clockwork Observatory)
PARTICIPANTS: 2LT Voss, Cyre H. Lorentz, Jacqueline Barber, Lydia Seren, Matilda Whitehead
RELICS RECOVERED: Notepaper corrupted by Malevolence (see below)
PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: Encountered and accompanied Drifters to site en route to campsite; felt further investigaton warranted.
EXPLORATION SUMMARY: This section of the site consisted largely of clockwork and related mechanisms; many automata encountered outside the grounds. Sections of site corrupted by the force known as Malevolence. Traps included wayward machinery. Within the core of this site section, a number of Malevolence-corrupted individuals were encountered ('Hellions' per local parlance) and after interrupting an apparent meeting they left their monster, a sort of 'walking star', to handle us. After disabling it we were caught in a trap by one of the Hellions but escaped by erasing flawed symbols.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Found ourselves in a study after escaping the trap, an apparent result of time/space warping. The Drifters found a Malevolence-contaminated note; rather than risk the encampment I left the note with them as they said they thought they could purge the Malevolence. Awaiting word of this outcome. Possible further investigation suggested as wandering automata could pose a threat. Hellions in the keep also represent an unknown risk.
