SITE REPORT
SOLARIAN SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND (SOLSOC)
Prepared by Elhaym van Houten
Authorized for release to Gebler Special Exploratory Group (SEG)
(Clearance-confirmed contractors included)

SCENE LOG:
LOCATION: Leck Mines
PARTICIPANTS: 2LT van Houten, Morgan Newkirk, Ida Everstead-Rey, Gwen Whitlock
RELICS RECOVERED: None
PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: Investigate state of mines.
EXPLORATION SUMMARY: The "Leck Mines" as inspected by myself and the group involved do not appear to be an active site being developed by Adelhyde or other state actors for reliquary technology. I saw few signs of anything other than an old mining site which had been used as a staging ground by some other agency, potentially bandits or other social outcasts.

However, at the bottom of a relatively complex and undisturbed ecological zone (with a bat/slime nutrient cycle) we encountered a caved-in zone of uncertain size and scope. With our equipment it was impossible to breach the rubble. It is not impossible that a substantial cache or other ancient relic site was thoroughly excavated and then demolished, or destroyed in the process of excavation.

Notes on the Drifters who accompanied me - which may in some cases overlap with other reports:

NEWKIRK has been documented previously, but possesses an ARM that combines an energy-projection device with what appears to be a force-plane shield capable of repelling physical force. It is unclear if this would be effective against etheric attacks. He claimed that he recovered it from "lizard men," but I was unable to press him successfully for more information.

IDA EVERSTEAD-REY is a scion of a wealthy family alliance who engage in trading and exchange of ARM devices throughout Filgaia. It is uncertain why she is acting in the capacity of a Drifter. However, this may simply be due to the "Ancient Culture Exhibition" in Adelhyde.

GWEN WHITLOCK has a prosthetic limb which contains an integrated ARM using electromagnetic force to fire projectiles using the "Railgun Principle." It is evidently sufficiently integrated in her body for her to refer to "spraining" it, although this may have been casual language.

I had briefly encountered WHITLOCK previously, who recalled me; the other two were new contacts. All appeared completely satisfied with my claims as a student of geology, and I may be able to use this, along with further expense allocations, to repeat this mission outline for other, similar sites.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Inspect site for possible caches of ancient materials.
