SCENE LOG: Chasing A Name
LOCATION: Lolithia's Tomb
PARTICIPANTS: Cap. Yugh, Avril Vent Fleur, Ethius Hesiod, Cyre H. Lorentz, Neriah Parringer, Morgan Newkirk
RELICS RECOVERED: Collection of ARMs
PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: While en route to Bledavik, I picked up on the trail of POI Hesiod and followed him to the site of Lolithia's Tomb, where we now know Adlehyde had excavated the aforementioned golem. Hesiod gave no indication he was aware that he was being followed, and I was able to observe him throughout the sojourn into the tomb without, apparently, arousing his suspicious.
EXPLORATION SUMMARY: We were also joined by several others in the ruin, who I will detail shortly:

AVRIL VENT FLEUR - This is the woman I mentioned in Sunday's meeting. She wields uncommon magics and a unique weapon: A laser-based device that I observed configure between a sword and whip. Such highly advanced technology seems like an unlikely ruins find. She was very curious about whether or not she had met me before (I have no recollection of previous encounters) but initial concern from this fact is dispelled by a later revelation: Like several others, she appears to be an amnesiac. She claimed to be journeying into the tomb to look for something, but was unable to clarify what it was. Later had an episode of mental disassociation caused by an unknown source deep in the tomb.

CYRE H. LORENTZ - Demihuman and accompaniment to Fleur. Unremarkable, but seemed distressed at the prospect of Fleur's mental disassociation and acted quickly to rouse her from it. He may know more than her lets on.

POIs PARRINGER and NEWKIRK were also present, but yielded no new information.

While under observation Hesiod continued to exhibit the same behavior previously reported by LT2s Voss and Van Houten. He is highly observant and seems to have an intuitive understanding of technology: When I placed a plastic explosive to clear an obstacle, he seemed to understand what I had done and how to ignite it (albeit crudely) even though I am certain he hadn't witnessed what I had done Furthermore, when we reached the center of tomb he leapt ahead without warning to the rest of the group-the possible cause being artifact weapons later recovered by the group (Noted presence of ARMs that may have been Solarian in origin, these I secured immediately and have already submitted to the appropriate processing unit.)

RECOMMENDED ACTION: None at this time.
COMMENTS: It is my estimation that Hesiod is driven partly by a compulsion or instinctual purpose, given that he appears to act quickly and intuitively when he suspects the presence of lost technology. This may be useful knowledge in isolating him for pacification, heretoforth referred to as Operation Angler.
