| DESCRIPTION: | Infiltrated Guardian Temple due to conflict erupting outside on temple grounds. |
| PRE-EVENT SUMMARY: | The group previously discussed reached the surface while the battle between Aveh and Kislev forces continued. POI Xantia also joined the group at this point, recognizing Fei in particular. Extended conversation was not possible due to the artillery attacks then ongoing as well as the unknown Golem present in Kislev's forces. |
| EVENT SUMMARY: | We managed to elude shelling and encountered several squads, including one of Garlyle forces. I was not able to demonstrate myself in any way before they attacked, and due to my mission terms of engagement, the squad was unfortunately routed. Shortly thereafter we encountered two squads of Kislevi forces who had been slain by a single soldier who had succumbed to Malevolence energy. The entity was retired by force. Local bandits were also driven off.
A Kislevi motor vehicle was found in a damaged but operable condition, which was used to further departure. An Aveh landship, disabled by the Golem, was forcibly entered, and several operational Gears were discovered and activated by Albus, Keil and Xantia. (Albus recognized one Gear as an individualized model, which presumably had been pressed into service by Aveh - presumably after seizure from Kislev, perhaps due to battlefield action.) In order to build rapport, I gave Xantia basic instruction in mobility operation of the Gear. I was not able to make contact with Yggdrasil affiliates other than Albus and Keil except on a trivial scale, given the situation. Fei volunteered to convey me to the Linga area to collect my belongings; en route, he stopped to speak with a "Ebony Wings" representative about several matters, including the Guardians' abilities re: Malevolence.
