SCENE LOG:	Crawling into the Void
LOCATION:	Baskar Sacred Grounds, canyon complex
PARTICIPANTS:	2LT Voss, Gwen Whitlock, Jean, Dean Stark, 'Asteroid the Kid' (see below)
RELICS RECOVERED:	None
PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY:	Following up on report from Lt. van Houten, assembled group of Drifters to explore Malevolence-oriented manifestations in region. Encountered individual 'Asteroid the Kid' while on grounds.
EXPLORATION SUMMARY:	Multiple environmental hazards encountered outside and within complex, located in the wall of a canyon. Wildlife in the region was agitated, potentially by Malevolence intrusions (see previous observations on animals in the presence of Malevolence), and led a stampede. Internal hazards included destablized rock, subsequent partial collapse, and a trapped hallway. As we ventured further within multiple members of the group appeared to sustain psychic intrusions, similar again to the cave explored on the east side of the continent. A sensation of futility and despair grew oppressive towards the heart of the complex until it reached a point where it became insurmountable despite attempts to persevere and we were forced to withdraw; a vision of a village manifested itself briefly before this point. If this is to be trusted, there is a village named 'Wehaca' which may be connected to this activity.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:	Investigate Sacred Grounds to determine extent of Malevolence intrusion. Follow up on Wehaca village and whatever connection it may have to the disruption at the grounds.
COMMENTS:	Individual 'Asteroid the Kid' is a female mutant met on-site, claiming to be Baskar. Notable features include a head shaped exactly like a rock. Based on her testimony, subject is both mentally unstable and may have had an encounter with our operatives in the past but believes them to have been 'aliens'. Caution recommended. This may be the 'Asteroid' mentioned by Ethius in Van Houten's report.
