| PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | In response to the recently issued general orders from High Command, Major Yugh put together a preliminary expedition to probe the depths of Hadal Temple and reached the metal demon invasion craft contained therein. The goal was to establish a base camp from which more troops and resources could be committed to recover or destroy the ship. |
| EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Although the initial ingress into the Temple went well, we soon encountered heavy resistance from multiple sources within the grounds, including ongoing harassment from the undead metal dragon identified as one of the 'guardians' of the areas. Stimulants created to cancel the visual and aural hallucinations experienced inside Hadal were effective at first, but later ceased to be use as the effects either wore off or were overcome deeper within the site. Major Yugh assessed the toll of travel on the expedition to great to reach their destination and ordered a retreat, resulting in mission failure. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | With the inability to establish a base camp and further territorial gains, it is recommended that destruction of the metal demon ship (Codename: Epoch) be prioritized over it's recover. Major Yugh will pursue additional resources to secure this task. |
