| DESCRIPTION: | Investigate situation in Krosse |
| PRE-EVENT SUMMARY: | Investigation was advised for ongoing events of unknown origin within boundaries of the nation of Krosse. Infiltration beyond borders uncovered erratic behavior from residents coupled with rise in the phenomenon known as Malevolence. The catacomb complex showed the most promise as an entrypoint into the capital; further Malevolence phenomenon noted within; it was to this location that all who were detained were taken. |
| EVENT SUMMARY: | The prisoners taken were being used as a 'farm' for Malevolence, apparently by the one known as K.K. and according to King Krono's, also present within the heart of catacombs, at the king's request. It appears recent events in Ignas had made them paranoid enough to attempt to obtain K.K.'s aid. The thing they used the farmed Malevolence to empower, which was an orb of some kind, nullified all use of sorcery throughout the catacombs and the city. This included ether, much like experienced the encounter prior to our transit to Lunar, but the effect did not dissipate until we retreated from the city's borders which suggests it may still be active. Much like the experience in the Pleasing Garden, this effect also had negative impacts on mind and body. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | If at all possible, deliver information on the event to higher command on Filgaia and determine whether the effect still maintains in Krosse. This has dire implications for our operations if it still stands. Conveying this information may admittedly be an impossible task at present. |
