| PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Sent south on fact-finding mission into Goddodin region, post reports of an incident in Lastonbell. |
| EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Encountered 'Kaguya', suspected Veruni operative, in village outskirts. Malevolence detected in outskirts; several corrupted and hostile animals encountered. Individuals in town appeared to be cut off from outside work and while village is self-sustaining, they are unaware of many regional changes and were generally welcoming of any assistance. Many villagers noted wearing silver pendants; the reason for these is unknown: direct questions about the pendants were not answered. The Burgermeister, Silas Dee, for the town was quite interested in news of the outside world but appeared somewhat suspicious of us. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Potential opportunity for leverage in area; with the dragon attack on Lastonbell and instability on the rise as a result, the Goddodin region presents a possibly strategic advantage. Any successes in Burwich might be able to be replicated elsewhere. Presence of Veruni operative in region however is troubling; she was present during the engagement at the Pleasing Garden and appears to be building a mercenary group. Degree of Veruni involvement or whether her presence is a one-of is unknown. Further investigation into individual required. |
