| PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Set out to investigate location based on rumors of monsters and 'devices' escaping the ruins. As advised, obtained Drifter assistance prior to infiltration of site. |
| EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Encountered Lilac and 'Ragnell' on site. See previous reports on suspected nature of 'Ragnell'. Obstacles within ruins included strange creatures of unexpected ability and form. Much of location observed to be crumbling as expected from age and disrepair of ruins of this type. However, an anomaly was encountered in the ruins: we met with an assortment of apparent chrysalises packed densely and powered by an object of uncertain origin and affinity. Lorentz indicated that previous expeditions he had undertaken suggested that the power source was 'creating' the creatures. When we attempted to reach the source, we instead found ourselves in a location that defied the size and nature of the ruin we were in, as if we had been transported to a forest. Attempts to reach the core ultimately failed and we found ourselves in an abandoned but perfectly normal research laboratory for Lunar's purported technology level. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Further investigation strongly recommended. Sampling recommended if feasible of creatures in ruins; look into confirming their age and genetic composition. Power source should be investigated and retrieved if possible. Collect data on the apparent spatial anomaly encountered. |
