| DESCRIPTION: | DESCRIPTION: An assassination attempt was made on Minister Shakhan of Aveh. |
| PRE-EVENT SUMMARY: | Various operatives were assigned to keep watch over the safety and well-being of Minister Shakhan of Aveh for the purposes of assuring continuing stabilization of the Aveh region of Filgaia. This role turned out to not be unwarranted. |
| EVENT SUMMARY: | Shortly after a luncheon event was underway, the Black Wolves, known destabilizing force in the Aquvy region and elsewhere, staged an assassination attempt on the Minister, resulting in the loss of several guards. Operatives on the scene and other Drifters present intervened; the sacrifice of Spec Op Medry ultimately prevented a potentially fatal blow upon the Minister. Shortly after this, Odessa staged an attack on the event, requiring extraction of the Minister. At this point our operatives present exited the event or made preparations, with the minister. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Neutralization of Black Wolves and associates has been elevated following this incident by Command. Threat Assessment for known individuals has been raised accordingly. Recommended: creation of additional POI reports for undocumented individuals. |
| COMMENTS: | Update 10/5/2020: Spec Op Medry recovered from wounds sustained. following treatment and rest. A commendation has been recommended by the Commander. |
