SITE REPORT
SOLARIAN SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND (SOLSOC)
Prepared by Loren Voss
Authorized for release to Gebler Special Exploratory Group (SEG)
(Clearance-confirmed contractors included)

SCENE LOG: Anomalous Nightmare
LOCATION: Local anomaly 'Spitsbergen Nightmar
PARTICIPANTS: CPT Voss, 'Lanval', Eleanor Klein, Jacqueline Barber
RELICS RECOVERED: None, see recommended action.
PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: Accompanied expedition team to investigate local anomaly 'Spitsbergen Nightmare'. During a brief exploration of the area, I became separated and encountered an anomalous sighting along with the Lambs mentioned above. After some deliberation, I opted to enter with them rather than risk otherwise. Of note, all outside communications were disabled in the area; mapping via electronic systems was similarly disengaged.
EXPLORATION SUMMARY: The internals of the environment were odd. We encountered several iterations of crystalline features but the location behaved without apparent consideration for physical laws as they are known. Ultimately we were worn down by the location and apparently 'ejected' by it. Barber located a notebook on our exit from the site, apparently from a prior explorer of it. I was unable to retrieve it from her but she did agree to provide me with a copy; due to my condition and being outnumbered, I agreed.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: The site eluded the rest of us when I reunited with my team. I cannot tell if its physical location shifted or if I was unable to locate it again; attempts to mark the path to the site again failed despite my attempts. I intend to review the contents of the journal should Barber fulfill her promises. Of course, further investigation of the site is recommended but caution and preparation are advised.
