| PRE-EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Investigated an unusual signal from the region of the Scar; this operation was done solo due to personnel constraints. Encountered others currently after arrival at destination. |
| EXPLORATION SUMMARY: | Agreed to cooperate with the others encountered on site; there may have been a significant risk of an incursion by Sin if we were to engage in that location. No abnormal circumstances were encountered; conditions within the canyon were as would be expected (Fiends, natural hazards). One of those who accompanied us was in possession of a particularly ancient (Zeboim?) and decrepit Gear. It was frankly a miracle that it didn't fall apart. We found at the bottom of the Scar a surprisingly intact shrine. |
| RECOMMENDED ACTION: | Could not find a source for the anomalous signal; it appeared stronger at the bottom of the canyon. Further forays may be necessary. A sample of the machina were sent to the labs. |
