  • Summary: Redi tries, again, to befriend a Pokemon. Alas, it is not to be.

Deep in the woods of Viridian Forest, an Emolga stands on a branch. Clutched between its paws is an apple -- freshly acquired from a nearby tree -- and a chunk bitten out of it. Its black, shiny eyes regard it--

--and then suddenly look up.

To see Redi Hayworth, looking at it hopefully, with her bright and pale blue eyes. She beams and holds up a Pokeball in one hand. In the other, some of the berries she bought.

She waggles both. "Eh? Ehhh?"

The Emolga sniffs the air -- and then its eyes go wide. As nearly every Pokemon's eyes have gone wide, because something about the strange, shadowy and fiery curse that infuses her seems to set nearly all of them on edge. "YEEP!" it cries out, the scurries into the woods.

Redi's shoulders sag and she sighs, head hung down. "Guess this one is a bust, too..."

Such is life on Energy Nede.
