Stories are told across Filgaia of a towering, golden-haired Drifter with a coat turned red by the blood of his victims, who fires a revolver that never misses its mark. Sightings of this Drifter have been reported for more than a century, the most notable the destruction of the /entire city/ of Lost July. Known by several aliases - "Vash the Stampede," "Human Disaster," and "The Humanoid Typhoon" are the most common - he is something of a bogeyman in the Seed regions of Ignas in particular, where "Vash did it" is a typical response to any unsolved crime. With nothing but a hair colour and a jacket to go on, however, it is hard to say just who...or what...Vash the Stampede really is.
