If someone hails from the Badlands, odds are they've heard of Vash the Stampede, the golden-haired drifter with a blood-red coat and impeccable aim. His legend goes back at least over a century, if not apocryphally longer, and he is held responsible for the destruction of the city of Lost July, leaving no survivors. Most often found in the Seed cities but with sightings all across Filgaia and beyond, Vash is more of a legend than a person to many people, with exact depictions varying frequently. His bounty is over sixty billion Gella, bringing hunters far and wide after him. Few know that in truth, Vash is a kind-heartedly foolish pacifist of a man who brings misfortune and peace wherever he goes, always believing in a brighter future.
A Story In Three Parts
Act One (Unlocked)
Once, there were two angels in the form of children. They grasped the heavens and peace was within their hands. A saint guided them to knowledge and unity among humanity. However, the humans had found the forbidden fruit among angels, and carved it into greedy pieces.
One of the angels sought to repay mankind for their sins. They would force them to fall from the heavens and to the tainted earth below. The other angel, bonded with the saint, wished for harmony. Yet, there was nothing they could do. Humanity fell to the blasted garden and the angels fell with them, forever strained.
The saint's actions spared the sinners. But the angels would pursue their own paths, one of destruction and one of love. Their story had just begun.
