  • Where: New Petra
  • Date: 8th January 2019
  • Summary: Riesenlied and Noeline check in on Leon and Lily during her wheelchair exercises.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Riesenlied has been somewhat scarce over the last month, for... perhaps understandable reasons.

It took her a while to even come to wakefulness, and even then, it was only for a few hours at a time that she could function; the doctors and nursing staff were all over it, as well as other fellows of the Outreach and the Wolves, of course. But eventually, daily life resumed... even if she found that she wasn't able to walk under her own power, in part owing to the aftereffects of the experiments Alhazred had visited upon her, and in part due to her increasingly Draconic, now digitigrade legs.

But it's okay.

New Petra's been more bustling than ever, with the new influx of the Tainted that they've been able to save. Lily's seen it before in a prior visit, but perhaps...

There's something about the energy about the town -- as they pass Accordion Tubing Man take Accordion Tubing Boy out for a piggyback walk, as several generations of Tainted huddle and chat around a comfortable fireplace that maybe reminds them of Kislevi army days. These are families, that have been separated by war, by conflicts of ideologies, but have recently been reunited. Across borders, across the ocean. Against all the odds. Because that's the Wayside way: even if they're knocked down, they wouldn't give up.

And now, it's finally paid off.

Riesenlied is shifting on her wheelchair, accompanied by Noeline no doubt; she's asked her partner in life to not assist her, since she wants to try pushing on her own power. It's a little slow, and at times she stumbles over planks and other ramps, and she's wheezing by the end--

But there's a soft smile on her face as she goes to greet Leon and Lily, waving at them.

<Pose Tracker> Leon Albus has posed.

Leon Albus looks, to put it shortly, like shit.

He is not a very emotional person. The events at the end of the Photosphere were difficult for him to deal with, and his usual coping strategy is to throw himself into his work. For the first week, he did that: he got the Wolves and the Outreach back, safely, and docked the Kraken in Hilton. He had confidence in his relationship with the local authorities to keep it safe -- and failing that, the ship's crew could handle that.

After that, though, he needed to find a way to deal with a lover who considered (however briefly) destroying the world; a friend who was also the Demon of Elru; a friend who lost her father; and a friend whose fiancee lost her father and couldn't get drunk.

Sorting his own emotions out was a difficult thing, and for someone who takes solace in privacy, understatement, and internalizing his feelings... it was not a productive time for him to talk to everyone.

Fortunately, his Gear was wrecked.

Weglaff has been in one of the Fereshte's hangars, having been transported to the airship after it was wrecked. It was, originally, a heap; it collapsed into three disparate parts after the battle with Weltall-Id. Leon spent the last week and a half working on the blue Gear.

He is coming off that now and he looks like shit: he hasn't slept in days, so his eyes have bags under them. He is wearing coveralls and a sleeveless white shirt, and they and his hair are smeared with black grease. He is smoking a cigarette, because he needed a smoke and couldn't be bothered with the pipe he prefers (too likely to go out, while hanging upside down and fastening on armor plates). His stubble is bordering on a scraggly beard. His hair is an unkempt mess.

He looks like shit, and is smiling because of it. A couple of weeks of hard physical labor is what he needed. He is approaching Riesenlied, but talking to Lily: "I've cut the armor down by about half. I took some salvaged thrusters, to increase reaction time. And the sword's going to be handheld, now, but I've not finished that /yet/..."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Keil has posed.

Lily /did/ briefly consider destroying the world, though, to be fair to her, she was really only likely to destroy a part of it, maybe two. ...No, she did not try that argument; instead, she gave Leon the time that he needed, because she knows how he works, and exactly how good he is at sorting out his own emotions.

When he's up to discuss it with her, he will say as much. In the meantime... She's made a point of keeping herself busy, as well. For the first weeks, naturally, she remained asleep after the strain that she put on herself. Then, she ate just about every scrap of food in her vicinity, and then some. And /then/... Then she had work to do, which has taken her across Ignas now that they're back, and around parts of Elru before that. She dropped in on the Princess, she checked up on Risenlied... and now, she's here in theory to see how Leon is doing.

For her part she is more in workout attire, a jacket slung over her shoulder, her shirt's sleeves rolled up to the elbow to reveal the strange markings there, sturdy pants, boots--there is a faint scent of something... burning, around her, though it's easy to miss because she also has a cigarette.

"So you're working on maneuverability--to deal with the fact that our armoring can't deal with Gebler's weaponry well in the first place?" she imagines.

Hellerune has been in someone else's care, mostly. But she has been building explosives.

She pauses, as Riesenlied waves, and nods her way. "Riesenlied," she greets, and warns Leon that she's present--and then her markings glow faintly blue, as her free hand rises, briefly frosting over in a rim of ice...

...And the lower air pressure that causes shifts their smoke away from Riesenlied, to the other direction.

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

Noeline sticks near to Riese at the very least, hovering close enough she's ready to leap over and help at a moment's notice and offering quiet encouragement the rest of the time. Torn between the memories of that empty month where Riesenlied was lost and under Alhazred's control and the recognition that there are some things you just have to prove to yourself you can do alone, she's dithering a little, but doing her best to give Riesenlied space at the same time.

At least, that's the basic plan. It's quickly derailed when she starts having to respond to the greetings of villagers they pass, or intercepting a Tainted courier to offer a hand in lugging their load of provisions to somewhere it can be safely put down, or having to handle a barrage of questions from a couple of inquisitive children around the camp: yes, Miss Riese will be alright, yes, that chair helps her walk, no, it doesn't have its own engine.

If she's honest about it - and after her argument with Riesenlied, she's doing her best to be - the bustle is a welcome relief. It represents life, and it represents the Tainted as a whole pulling through their long history within the Photosphere to break away and find themselves. A mirror of her own past, she's more than happy to throw herself into helping, even if most of what she's been doing is teaching: the more able-bodied scouts the geography of the region, the elders the geopolitics, the others... well, there are no end of topics, between the Guardians and her own travels and everything that's happened.

When she catches sight of the visitors, though, she's quick to return to Riesenlied's side. "... well done," she mumbles privately to her partner, a hand on her shoulder as they approach - and then she actually catches sight of the two of them, and huffs under her breath. "--you know, I expect this sort of thing from Miss Keil," she grouses immediately, "But I thought you knew where to find a doctor's office from time to time. Or a /bar/, at the very least."

Still, she's smiling through it.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

It doesn't exactly take an empath for someone to recognise Leon's state, but... well, he's amidst great company at the Fereshte's hangar. It's not exactly the Yggdrasil's state of the art hangar, but there's certainly a charm in a space that used to just be a cargo hold that they've all, personally, kitted out with what they need. Hammer, Lydia, Leon, and everyone else who's had a hand in Gear maintenance. There's tons of gearheads to bang heads with.

There's a soft giggle to Noeline as she compliments her, and she places a hand to her chest as she says, "Thank you..." A pause, as she makes a comment to Leon. "I know Val's been looking for you for a round or two..."

She looks at Weglaff.

It's kind of awkward for her, because she does remember getting cut by its heat blade, and some of the damage that's on the Gear was probably hers too.

But Riesenlied is an empath, and it's with concern -- and a towel -- that she brings herself closer, careful to not accidentally roll over a spanner or an errant pipe and send herself tumbling. "Mister Leon... Weglaff's looking better." A pause. She whispers to the Gear for a moment, "Sorry for hurting you too, Weglaff..." as if it's a living person that she has to apologise to.

There's a pause as she appreciates Lily's magic moving the smoke away, because she probably won't deal with it well given her state. She coughs for a moment as she winds down from her exercise of wheeling, looking to the two. "I haven't seen you since Fei and Elly came here, Lily... how are you doing?"

She shifts her shirt a little, trying to hide the fact that the Medium grafted into her is still shimmering underneath. There's a shawl there for good measure too, since she's feeling rather self-conscious about it.

<Pose Tracker> Leon Albus has posed.

"Quite right," Leon says to Lily. "Besides, I think some of the damage to the frame could make weaknesses. Better to cut those parts out and start over, I think. And that's a chance to make it slimmer and more manueverable."

He cracks a smile, though it has -- if muted, given that it's Leon -- the slightly out-of-balance frenzy of a smile of someone suffering from sleep deprivation. He plucks his cigarette from his mouth and drops it to the earth. The heel of his boot grinds the cigarette out, before it could start a fire. "Ah, Riesenlied, Noeline. I'm afraid I am a sight, aren't I?"

He chuckles, and then he shakes his head. "Quite all right. I'll have Weglaff repaired in short order. It's taken some damage before."

He rolls both of his shoulders, and represses a slight groan. His arms are sore, after being -- and hanging -- at a few odd angles. He glances about the town, and then back to the two of them. "The town seems to be bustling. And it's good to see the two of you up and about. How have you both held up?"

<Pose Tracker> Lily Keil has posed.

"Hmm, yes, I see what you mean. And if we're ever going to have the time to work on that, it's now."

As for the chair...They could probably /make/ it an engine. Land vehicles are more Lily's speed in terms of mechanics, really. But lily does not push to offer help or anything on that front, instead of lifting an eyebrow at Noeline's grousing.

"I'll have you know that wherever I am probably qualifies both as a medical office /and/ a bar."

A joke, even.

But a beat, and Lily does not interfere in the apologies here. ...If anyone finds Gears to have personalities, it's Riesenlied, considering her interactions with Hellerune. But as Leon puts out his cigarette, Lily exhales the last of hers and... removes it, in her particular way, with a faint zipping noise.

She spots the Medium. She does not focus too hard on it.

"I'm all right--better than I was before. I've just been doing some work myself."

...And avoiding crowds. She did a /lot/ of disappearing to be alone, lately.

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

To Noeline, there is evidently a distinction between 'practice time' and 'talking to friends time' - and as such, the wheelchair steadies just a little as she places her hands on the handles, ensuring that Riesenlied's last stretch to meet Lily and Leon goes smoothly. It also puts her in position to gently nudge a touch at Riesenlied's back - a quiet reminder that she's still there and present, in case it becomes necessary.

"Fortunately, we are used to sights around here, especially at the moment," she shoots back. "And I have long since learnt not to worry about those sorts of things, particularly after saving the world a couple of times over," she huffs... even if that last part is a bit unconvincing given that she's still just as vain as always when it comes to herself. A bit quieter about it now, perhaps, and a little more restrained - but the guise of a Crimson Noble isn't one she can drop so easily after spending so long with it as her identity.

Lily gets a glance as well, and the Hyadean puffs out her cheeks. "That would explain what happened to the medical alcohol. And here I thought it was Val," she shoots back in a deadpan joke of her own, before brightening into an amused and fanged grin. "Still, I do apologise we can't spare more in the way of raw materials for the Weglaff. Hopefully, it should be enough - we're still in the midst of figuring out exactly how much we need between the Tainted and the Azado people."

A pause, and Noeline looks to Riesenlied as she lets out a more solemn sigh. "... we have had our ups and downs, I think it is fair to say," is her rather diplomatic answer as she chuckles under her breath. "But, given everything, we are doing our best to look forward and not back. We are more or less healthy and intact, we have our family safe, we have a people to look after. I think that is about the absolute best we could have asked for."

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

"It's all right. I can tell you've been doing a lot of good work," Riesenlied answers softly of Leon's comment about his appearance and state. She gestures with her head one way as she says, "I'm glad Weglaff is okay now. I'm sorry to have been the cause of some of it..." It's still a little awkward for her.

Leon asks her how they've held up, and she looks at Noeline. After her partner's said her peace, she nods, saying, "We've had a lot of things to think about... things we'd like to do each other better by. I certainly do think we've gotten closer as a result..." as she softly giggles and clings to Noeline's hand afterwards. Aww. "But..."

She glances down to the wheelchair, then herself. "Well... I'm not... going to exactly be in a state to do much Digging or anything." She bites her lip, looking down a little. "I'm not quite sure what to think about this... predicament. I miss..." A pause, as she strains herself and lets one of her legs over the foot rest and scrapes her talon against the floor for a moment.

"I miss walking." A pause. "And shoes."

<Pose Tracker> Leon Albus has posed.

"Precisely," Leon says. "It's the time, if there ever was one. I do have a few parts I still need, though." He sighs a little at that.

At Noeline's admonishment, though, he cracks a smile. "Sights do appear to be a touch more common in the past few weeks," he admits. He rubs at his arm, before shaking his head. "Don't think anything of it. We've also had some Kislevi funds towards rebuilding it. I'd say it's a sense of guilt, but it's probably because they want to be sure there is no illusion that the Kaiser is beholden to us."

He glances down at Riesenlied, then. His smile doesn't vanish, but it fades a little; he takes a look at her legs and feet, and he can see in a moment. She needs the chair. "Nothing you should feel guilty for, Riesenlied. We can handle the Digging, when it's necessary. You..." He swallows. "...I don't know if there is a way we can help with walking -- or with shoes -- but if there is a way that we can help, you've only to ask."

He glances at Lily, for a moment. This is far beyond him. He glances back down at her. "But I don't think I'll give up hope that some answers await us, out there, regarding this."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Keil has posed.

Lily actually laughs--it's a warm sound, however brief it is--at Noeline's reply. "It's not so bad when you get used to it," she quips in return. But she does consider what logistics those might mean, in terms of who needs what. Only absently, though; it isn't her job.

"...We could work on some parts," Lily admits to Leon, and then, "But that's true." They've called in that card, for sure. And it's spent.

"Focus on recovery for now; you can do a lot from here, too." Then she pauses, and says, "...Shoes we can help with; we can have those custom-made for you, I think. Walking, I can't make any guarantees, unfortunately."

She glances at Leon, for a moment, and then back to Riesenlied. "...Mother had a similar predicament. I have... some knowledge, of how to make a place easier for a wheelchair. If it's welcome, I'll do what I can."

But...

"I have to believe that the answers are there. ...And some of them I'm sure of."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

Noeline smiles quietly as the pair link their hands together. "... we were both guilty of leaving some feelings to stew and build. Perhaps it was not exactly the best of all possible times to let them out, but we did at least manage to pull through," she points out to the others with a rather rueful smile, but also a squeeze of the other woman's hand in hers. "I have been doing my best to take more of an active role here - and I have been doing my best to encourage Riese to speak up if she needs something, as well."

Her eyes naturally follow Riese's gaze downwards towards her legs; here she definitely pauses for a moment, her brow furrowing. The degradation hasn't escaped her notice, of course, and it's all that Noeline can do for the time being to hope that Alhazred's meddlings might be the end of it, that at least with any luck it won't progress further.

Shaking her head and the thoughts away, she looks up to the human pair. "... we are taking it slowly for the time being. Cetiri has been running some tests from time to time as well; she won't say anything, but I'm reasonably sure she's quite anxious in her own way. At the very least a wheelchair is giving Riese time to heal and regain her strength bit by bit; she's been taking longer trips around the village."

After a pause, she lets out a more ragged sigh towards Lily's offer. "We /did/ have a certain someone provide us with a number of ramps, yes. She said she'd done something to make them 'non-slippery'. Last I remember, she was talking about bolting a retractable ramp onto the Fereshte, but..." Vaguely, she glances up and behind her, where the deck awaits. It turns out that amongst the places Shalune is capable of sleeping, one of them is 'on the stairs to the upper deck, her legs dangling off the edge of the ship'. Hopefully the railing holds steady.

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

Leon says they'll handle the Digging. "I know. Just... well, that fear of falling behind, of not being able to contribute as much... that was a part of the poisonous feeling that contributed to how things wound up," Riesenlied murmurs very softly, even if she's trying to keep her spirits up. She still well remembers how she felt on that day she was kidnapped, after all. She wasn't going to dwell on it for much longer, though. "But I know. I understand there are things I can do."

A pause, as she focuses on Noeline instead and with a bigger smile. "You've been doing amazing, and I know people think so too. And I'm trying hard to not bottle anything up anymore..."

She looks at Lily afterwards, in thought. "I think that'd be great... accessibility has always been important to us, given the needs the Tainted tend to have. More viewpoints and experiences always make it better, and ah--"

A pause, as Leon and Lily mention things they could do. "I was thinking-- of physical therapy again, like we used to back in Wayside, Miss Lily. Part of it is getting used to these strange... legs, and part of it is regaining my strength, I'm sure."

<Pose Tracker> Leon Albus has posed.

"We could. I might organize an outing, soon enough, provided the others are up for it." Leon nods to Lily, before he turns his eyes back to Noeline and Riesenlied.

"Slowly sounds best. Glad to hear you've worked things out between you, though," he adds. He stands up a little straighter; there is a flicker of awkwardness. He hasn't even broached the subject of what Lily said to Id. In due time, he tells himself.

"I know who you mean," he says. "The girl was helping me with Weglaff. I swore I found her sleeping upside down at this point."

This may be a joke.

He smiles, a little wryly, before he looks down at Riesnelied. He nods. "There are a good number of them," he says. "Rest assured, we all know that you contribute a great deal to all of our causes. And..."

He glances down at the talons. "...That might be wise. You might well just need the practice and opportunity to develop use of them."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Keil has posed.

"It's all right, to worry about that. But it's true that it's still early, in terms of how long it's been since what happened to you--we can't rule out your recovery yet."

"...sometimes things come out when they will, regardless of your plans," Lily admits to Noeline, and similarly to Leon avoids her partner's gaze in that instant.

"I agree; especially when much of your community is made up of those who have suffered serious injury, it's important to tailor your locale to their needs." She pauses, as the talk of Shalune, looks up... and sighs. "Yes," Lily answers, "That seems very like her." But at the question of physical therapy, Lily pauses. "In that case..." Lily looks thoughtfully over Riesenlied. "I'll need a chance to examine you--not now, of course--and get a sense for the changes in your system, whether your musculature and skeleton have changed as well as the outward appearance, as I suspect must be the case. After that I can develop a regimen for you to work on. Your mother may already have most of the other information I'd need, I'm sure."

"But hmm. I did notice you have a number of such implements in place already." A pause, "But for now, there's no reason to believe that you're incapable of adapting to these changes; I suspect a root of the issue may be that your body simply hasn't had a chance yet to strengthen the new tissue, much like an infant human isn't capable of walking at first. ...He may have been an unholy monster, but living organisms follow certain patterns, regardless." It gives her a place to start studying, if she can notice similarities...

"Anyway, I can stay for a few more days easily; most of what I've needed to check on around the continent I've been able already."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

"... if it weren't for you, Wayside would be rudder-less," Noeline replies back to Riesenlied with a fond sigh and a slight nudge of the other Tainted's arm. "That trust won't be worn down just because you're in a wheelchair. ... and you're much better at stories, somehow," she grumbles protectively and fondly.

The back-and-forth is obviously a timeworn thing - words of support they've said to each other more than once since leaving the Photosphere behind for good, but words that can't hurt to have said aloud once again. She steals a glance at Leon, perhaps sensing that something is still wrong - but after studying his face for a moment, she decides it best to leave the topic alone for a more quiet time.

"... at the very least, I can say for sure that we are staying here for the time being. We have no real plans to move, at least in the short term, and it's an important chance to get ourselves - or the Azado people, at least - properly settled," she reports instead, and rubs a hand into her hair. "I was planning to reach out to the settlements around us, and the Baskars as well, to get a sense of what we have to work with. ... many of the people here aren't used to desert life, to say the least."

Noeline is momentarily pensive, but shakes it away with a chuckle. "We manage, though. I only say it to point out that you're welcome to stay longer if you need. We can always make space for more sleeping areas, somewhere or other. Not-- that he has needed any yet," she adds towards Lily, inclining her head towards Leon. "I am fairly sure he slept in that Gear at least once, if you can call it sleeping. Honestly... the first thing I did was find a way to have a damn good bath and an extremely comfortable sleep."

Lily is gearing up for a lecture, though, and Noeline draws back to give her the space for a quick examination. "... I'd thought something similar, though certainly not with the same amount of surety. ... for the time being, we've been working on her arms," she chuckles as she indicates the wheelchair, and explains Riesenlied's prior exercise. "It's been rather difficult to avoid the impulse to carry her."

<Pose Tracker> Riesenlied has posed.

"Ah, Shalune's been overworking herself so much... I should go treat her to something nice," Riesenlied bashfully says of the mechanic who's currently sleeping on the upper deck, rather clearly fond of her not even for her contributions, but the energy she provides day to day. She should also go return her to Jay for a bit lest she vanish completely.

She looks to Leon. The way he shifts does remind her of herself at some point; it's not her role to push Lily and Leon to talk about what happened, but... there's a cast glance to Lily that says 'I'm here to support you too', for a moment. She knows she'll understand. She's her mirror.

"I'd be happy. I definitely know the, um, bones... and muscle have all changed even more than they have back at Wayside, after the Temple. It's... strange-- it's like it's meant to tip-toe, like... a bird or a wolf." She nods as Lily says she'll develop a regimen; it'll be really tough, but she knows she can work through it. She looks just a little downcast as Alhazred is mentioned, but...

Well, it's true. Even Alhazred himself was lamenting not having the time to create something proper. He had his methodology.

There's a bashful look still at Noeline and a nod, saying, "I don't plan to vanish or recede to the background. I just want to share it further with you," with a chuckle. She does nod, though. "I do wish to find a way to return the Azadians back to Lunar, and help them rebuild. But that will be a longer project for the future yet... they're really patient with us, I'm glad for it."

Noeline mentions it's difficult to avoid the impulse of carrying her-- and she flushes a bit as she says: "... don't I get a reward for exercising successfully?"

<Pose Tracker> Leon Albus has posed.

Leon glances sideways at Lily, then nods. She would be staying; that would be for the best. Even if he needed to sleep and shower, it would be for the best to start gathering all of the Black Wolves back together.

He looks at Noeline, eyebrows raising. "The Azado people... I can imagine," he says. "I'd suggest New Arctica, but it's hardly hospitable. I think this may be the best place for them, for now. Maybe we'll find a way back there, eventually."

Unless they wanted to turn to Adlehyde, but he wasn't so certain.

He cracks a smile, though, at mention of /carrying/ Riesenlied. "Well, you heard her, Noeline. But I think you'll be in good hands for developing those muscles."

Then his nose wrinkles. "...It was only the once, honestly." Leon sighs. "I slept in my quarters... some."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Keil has posed.

There's no need for Lily to interfere in that back-and-forth--it's nice, as it is, to see it. The talk of plans, of what needs doing, that much is simpler to focus on. But...

Lily understands Riesenlied's glance--in that moment, she glances back, and in the instants of their eyes meeting Lily inclines her head, just slightly. She understands, and this time, does not push aside what it means.

"A Gear is a much more comfortable place to sleep than most of the ones we found back then," Lily reflects, though it's a little distant as she says it. "Which is to say that it doesn't surprise me in the least. He's always been easily absorbed in work."

Bones, muscle... Lily considers. "That /would/ be very different to grow accustomed to. I wonder about it--I'll have to find some books on differeng anatomies--it's entirely possible..." It /could/ be a lecture, indeed, though Lily decides not to go full bore on it for the moment--and shakes her head lightly to Noeline. "I'll prefer later; I'll need to feel out the muscle groups, and I think some privacy would be best."

"...if we can find a way back to Lunar that's consistent, I'll share it, naturally. We do need to return... One day. There are things left unfinished."

A beat, and she shakes her head, faintly amused. "She has a point, Noeline. Motivation is a very important part of the process."

<Pose Tracker> Noeline has posed.

"... I hardly even think you can describe it as 'overworking herself'. That girl is simply a hummingbird who powers down every so often," Noeline grumbles - but it's with an amused sigh, and she can't really find it in herself to make it a particularly serious grump when things have been going - relatively speaking - perfectly well for them all. It feels as if she's been saying 'we manage' for a very long time - and yet this is the first time that it feels like an upwards climb rather than a downwards trickle.

"... I know. If you even tried to, I would drag you back forwards before you could blink," she replies to Riesenlied with a bright expression and just a bit of relish - but softens afterwards as she tempers the statement with a brush of her hand through her partner's hair. "... of course, I would much rather share it with you. I am still learning, after all - and I rather suspect I will be for a very, very long time."

She tilts her head towards Leon, nodding along with Riesenlied's suggestion. "I have a particularly nasty feeling that getting them home might involve finding - and then activating - another broken-down Elw ruin," she sighs. "I cannot say that I feel particularly fantastic about those prospects, even given recent events." Here, she's just a little cagey. She isn't honestly certain to what degree Mariel's words could be picked up by those outside the mental space they dived madly through - nor how much Leon and Lily might know about the odd girl in general. Still, asking her is a thought, and one that she quietly files away for later.

Lily vouches for Leon's habits, and Noeline just chuckles and raises her hands. "Alright, alright. It is just my duty to be a busy-body, I suspect. I can at least say there doesn't seem to be a great deal of urgency... though, at the same time, I can understand wanting to ensure all your tools are in good condition, as it were."

... and then she pauses, and huffs softly at Riesenlied in an unspoken whine of 'they're right here'. Hesitating, she pauses - and then leans down to place a quick kiss on the other Hyadean's lips. "--I'll carry you back, if you're too tired," she offers, with that presumably being part of the reward. Goodness. Then she's turned on her heel a little to bashfully grumble to herself all over again.
