Talise Gianfair is a child of nowhere and everywhere. Born on a ship of miscreants long since lost, the bastard child of a Beastwoman pirate and a human con man who vanished along with the ship, she grew up wild, free and often afoul of the law, and with a thirst for adventure that took her away from the loss of her childhood home and across the Salyan Desert. In her heart she's a storyteller and a singer, the sort to knock back a couple of mugs of mead and sing songs of heroes long dead, favouring those of the Dragonmasters. But she's also a fighter at heart and a talented swordswoman, and she's learned by necessity to survive the badlands and the sea alike - and more recently to survive a world in which her Goddess seems to want to ban everything she finds fun. Now finding herself in a strange new world, she makes the most of it - and turns her eyes towards the lost treasures of the Blue Star.

Traveling Companions

  • Ida Everstead-Rey: Talise crossed paths with this woman on a caravan into Adelhyde, then followed her on an adventure into the Berry Cave. She's still feeling Ida out a little but at least finds her interesting to talk to, and hopefully another good guide or companion.
  • Lestaci Delloro:
  • Lynnai Albrek: A new friend, but a goodie. Lyn was the first person Talise ran into after finding herself in a new place, and she's found herself tagging along with the woman, finding her to be a good guide to Filgaia. Tal's fairly sure there's the grain of a good friend there.
  • Sephilia Lampbright: Talise's eyebrows went up when this tagalong girl with the cute plush fox revealed that she, too, is from Lunar. Now Tal feels a bit of an obligation to keep an eye on Sephy and ensure she gets back to Lunar safely someday.

  • Alisha Diphda: Talise likes this woman because she recognizes the Dragonmaster songs and doesn't think she's a weirdo for singing them, even if she is a poofy pink knight-princess of some kind. Plus she's from Tal's neck of the woods!
