A mysterious young man from the town of Lahan, Fei was forced to flee the village was attacked by Kislev military forces chasing down a stolen Gear, known as Weltall. Boarding the Gear in the midst of battle, Fei unleashed a mysterious power that destroyed most of the village. Banished due to the destruction, he wanders the countryside seeking answers to the mystery of both his newly acquired Gear and his own mysterious past. Skilled in an unknown style of martial arts and unusually adept at piloting, Fei's prowess in battle is matched only by his desire to not be swept up in the conflicts of the world - a desire which is likely to be left unfulfilled as mysterious forces push him towards his destiny.

Background

Fei has lived in utter obscurity for the past few years in a recently wiped off the village of Lahan. He must be a protaganist. Nevertheless, he's had amnesia for any time from before Lahan. His on-screen flashbacks will be included here.

The Kakei

ONE THOUSAND YEARS AGO

That man from before. Not Valeria, the one with the black hair. The vision is hazy. It's incomplete. But there's something here this time.

A woman with grey-blue eyes walks behind him. She says something but he can't quite hear it. The vision intensifies. He's looking at a waterfall but can see the reflection. He doesn't turn back and look at the woman. Not yet.

"I'm not interested," He says.

"He was right. You're just a coward." The woman says.

"Maybe the brave thing to do is to NOT kill people with my bare hands." The black haired man suggested instead. "When has war ever fixed anything?"

The woman with the grey-blue eyes pulls him around and slaps him in the face. "Wake up! This isn't a war over territory, it's a war over survival! Maybe one day we can talk about this, but we don't have the luxury right now!"

The man with black hair didn't respond. He just looked at the floor. The woman, disgusted, stormed off but the man raised a hand and said, "Hold on--"

The woman stopped.

"...Let me at least teach you something to keep you safe. Maybe you can adapt it with your ARM. It's called the Kakei..."

ONE THOUSAND YEARS AGO


Deus Ex Machina smelled of blood. The scattered bodies of Metal Demons lay across the great aerial fortress of the Metal Demons, and they were joined by scores upon scores of human dead. Mixed in, here and there, were the broken bodies of the Elw -- singed and burnt. Even now, Berserk's furious cries echoed down the hallway. Siegfried lay in a heap, armor burnt and blackened.


And Harthcourt Valeria stared down at the woman who lay crumpled, hand outstretched. The meager healing his magic could offer was so little, though.


"Elly, please," he rasped. "Please, stay with us--we're almost through with this. We'll finish Mother yet. Guardians, just... just stay with us! You..."


But he didn't speak to Elly, then. He looked up, slate grey eyes lifting, to stare at the form of the black-haired man standing tall before him. So familiar -- and yet that gentle, friendly visage was gone in a wash of terrible, angry red.

Sephilia made Fei a fuzzy woolen plush sheep doll. It is hand-crafted with care. It shimmers with the power of friendship.

Moor Gault, Guardian of Fire, Stone Medium

Though not a shaman, Fei found this tablet in his possession. Can he use this? He feels stronger in its presence.

Shevat Open-Handed Arts

Fei Fong Wong utilizes Shevat Open-Handed Arts though it's modified ever so slightly. Fei is hardly a master of this art though sometimes he uses incredible high level techniques he really shouldn't be able to utilize at all. It's very mysterious.

Weltall

Ugh this giant robot. It keeps showing up and following Fei wherever he goes. He's resigned himself that his fate and Weltall's are interconnected and he can't escape it because people like Bart and Citan keep throwing the thing at him. So far it's destroyed one hometown of his as far as he's aware but other than that? It's been really useful! If you think about it, that's a really good record.

Random Flashbacks

Fei Fong Wong sometimes gets weird visions of the past of people that look like him. Sometimes it's informative, usually it's just reliving the suffering of his past lives so again it's something that's really mostly there to keep him from having too many restful nights and being happy for too long. These flashbacks go all the way back to the destruction of the Eldridge.

Black Wolves

Elhaym van Houten: Fei feels a great spiritual kinship with Elly but honestly it's not that difficult to explain. He loves her. Weird that he fell for a lady who once pointed a gun at him, but he sees a side of her that is very strong and unyielding that pulls him to her, not to mention her kindness. Despite working for Gebler, he doesn't really feel it's a good place for her. He fears about what this world could do to her because he knows better than anyone that sometimes strength and kindness aren't enough. Now that they're on the moon, can they escape a dire fate?

Leon Albus: He is a good man and a good friend. Fei admires his leadership for what level of leadership is actually needed for the Black Wolves. Fei fought for his ability to return to his home should he ever choose and while they may never return to Kislev, he's grateful they have the choice now. But...how does he know the Zeboim language?

Lily Keil: Leon's subordinate and also girlfriend. Lily also has Dad Problems which Fei (and the red guy) sympathize with deeply. She's also his therapist though Fei really suspects Lily could use one for herself after all she's been through. She may be her father's daughter, but he is certain she'd never treat a daughter of hers like her father treated her.

Jude Moshe: Jude is often called a scoundrel of many stripes, but Fei believes in this man more than he believes in the persona he puts out.

Hammer: Hammer calls Fei bro. He's a strange little guy, but while he claims to be a coward, Fei sees moments where he risks it all on behalf of his 'patrons'. It's clearly more than just a business relationship and there's nothing wrong in knowing your limitations.

Riesenlied: Fei feels some affinity with what she has to go through. Can Filgaia be convinced to let them have a home? It's hard not to believe in her when she has some of that strength he sees in Elly, but sometimes strength isn't enough.

Noeline: Fei feels for you, Noeline. Hang in there. You've got a lot of stress ahead of you.

Josephine Lovelace: She's after that mysterious tile she showed me. Well, more of them. Why do I feel like something awful will happen once she collects them all? Anyway, she's good to have around.

Yggdrasil Alliance

Bart Fatima: The closest thing Fei has to a best friend. A pirate king who broke Fei out of jail (people still call him prince but his parents are dead?). While Fei has mixed feelings for being part of Bart's rebellion, he believes Bart's genuine desire to make the world a better place and he's grateful since Bart gave him the first real home he's had since Lahan burned to the ground. Bart has his loyalty but how long will Fei's willpower last?

Lunata Croze: "I get that he was an enemy, but going that far on someone like that ... I can't approve of it. I feel like Kahm pushed her into this while they were fighting together. This is why I tried to stop her from fighting."

Shalune Amira: "A remarkable scientific repertoire for someone her age."

Xantia: Fellow amnesiac and friend whom is partly why Fei cares about his own past at all. Fei hopes he can help her uncover her past and also keep her out of trouble. Xantia seems able to take care of herself, at least, and she seems happy. Hopefully when she finds out whom she was it won't hurt who she is. Aw, who is he kidding...it probably will. But it's what she wants so he'll support her. It turns out that he recognizes the style of martial arts. Shevat Open Palm. What did Shevat do to her? Does it matter? Maybe it shouldn't matter.

Fei's Friend?? Factory

Citan Uzuki: Fei's last remaining link to his old life. He finds it frustrating this guy keeps telling him to get in Weltall but he knows Citan's a good guy and he trusts him to tell the truth when it's necessary even if he is kind of ruthless in a way...

Cecilia Adelhyde: It can be easy to forget she has lost much too. Don't forget. Fei is surprised they ended up friends but, well, they have haven't they? They've both seen their homes in flames.

Dan: "HE JOINED A GANG, CITAN! HE HAD A TINY CUTE BUT DAPPER SUIT ON AND EVERYTHING!"

Lord Chauncey of Foxington: Sephilia's bodyguard and 'bestest pal'. Fei himself approves of this creature greatly and made him a top hat with his own artistic skills. Fei is completely willing to treat Chauncey as if he's 'real' though why is unclear. Maybe he's just glad that Sephilia has something to protect her.

Sephilia Lampbright: Fei considers Sephilia a good friend and a source of solace. Considering her easy ability to make friends, he worries she'll make the wrong friend and be hurt for it. It probably already happened. It will probably happen again.

Weltall: Status: Lost Buddy. Why do I feel weird about that? Isn't it what I wanted?

June Lim Ze: "She might be from where I'm from. I guess we do have similar names... Either way, she's rough around the edges but she seems like a good if sometimes off-putting person."

Fargo Foobach: He doesn't seem to be such a bad guy. Why do I have to be his enemy?

Kaguya: A nice dying flower girl. This is super depressing. Life is unfair. Okay maybe she's up to some shit.

Ida Everstead-Rey: She seems like a good person but it seems her ancestor is someone...I? They? Someone SOMEONE knew. She'll be a great help against the metal demons but after what Siegfried said, I worry about the fate her investigations will lead her to. And now that she's a Hellion...well, fuck.

Jack Van Burace: Fei knows what he's going through. They both lost everything. Maybe Jack is the one person who really understands what it's like. But he can't help Jack while he's like this.

Dean Stark: A small town kid whose life was changed by a woman who fell out of the sky. Weirdly, Fei feels an affinity with him.

Avril Vent Vleur: A mysterious woman who fell out from the sky. Also has amnesia, but feels familiar. Sometimes frightening but somehow a friend!

Vile Fiends

Ruby: Ruby is just as much of a good person as Hiro is but has that cynical edge to her which makes it easy for me to get along with. Don't get me wrong, optimism is a wonderful thing, but I don't think I could maintain that kind of purity Hiro and Dean seem to have so having someone to snark with while helping the Fiends out is invaluable to me. Besides, she's proven herself time and time again that despite what she may say, her actions prove that she'll go above and beyond for others. I hope one day she manages to seek out her own happiness and I'm glad she has another dragon to be friends with.

Hiro: Hiro is a great guy. I can see why Ruby's so devoted to him. He'll do anything for Lucia and that encourages me to do my best for those I care for. I'm glad he has Ruby there to temper him as I worry he might push himself too hard otherwise but either way I've got his back. I hope. And hey... Wish you the best with Lucia. I'm sure you can make it work out. Now that he's back on Lunar, I wonder if he'd ever come back... Of course, I'm not really sure I will come back either.

Lucia: A mysterious blue haired woman. Makes me feel a little uneasy, but she seems to be a good person. Reminds me of Elly with the guilt and burdens she has to carry. Also she took us all to the moon but undoubtedly saved Filgaia from an apocalypse in doing so. Not sure why she feels guilty about it. Still, if the Fiends like her this much, I trust her. They are forgiving but they are a good judge of character.

Lemina Ausa: Sometimes a magic feather can help you through a tough time. She seems reliable.

Jean: A former killer like Fei. Oh wait she's not like Fei. Fei is a current killer too. Well it's nice to pretend. Glad she isn't a masked asshole. Wonder how she's handling being back on Lunar.

Yarobeleedt: It's hard not to feel sorry for this guy.


Enemies

Siegfried: Fei can't give up on him. He's one of the few links to the past. And there's something else besides.

Berserk: Thugs like him... Fei's had to deal with a few even in Lahan. The only difference is that he is a thousands year old warrior with a giant wrecking ball and is incredibly powerful. Nothing to be afraid of but definitely a serious problem to take care of. And apparnetly taken care of.

Corwynt: Hurt Elly. Worse, hurt Elly while preaching at the top of his lungs.

Kahm Yugh: He better not hurt Elly.

Kahran Ramses: According to Elly, might not be that bad of a guy for a Gebler commander.

Loren: Kinda punched him for something that didn't actually happen. Woops! Feel kinda bad about it.

Myyah Hawwa: ...

Grahf: "See K.K's entry, BUT EXTRA."

K.K: "Doesn't this world have enough problems without masked assholes running around taunting everyone? What he did at Krosse, and manipulated that poor woman to do his bidding, it's terrible."

Wiseman: "Doesn't this world have enough problems without masked assholes running around taunting--wait. This guy is... not an asshole? He has to be a secret asshole right? He has the mask!!"
